Yes there is a store in Southern California that when they recieve the game they do not hold it untill the release date they will just sell it. The store is in Anaheim that sometimes gets the games in that friday or for sure by the monday before the tuesday release. The store is called Game freeks or something like that, its located on ball/brookhurst. Now I hope no one here is going to report them and get them in trouble because I use this store for buying all my ps3 games. I never know when they get the game I just always call on the fridays before the relase and he will say what he got.

Hey Jeff, I coach a JV team at Beckman Highschool, its in Irvine

I'm getting it the 18th because I'm out of town the 9th to the 17th.

I get it on the 14th cause I'm a poor ass bastard and don't get paid until Wednesday afternoon/night so I'll grab it Thursday morning.

100% honest question, when does the game "officially" come out?

I have no idea and will just walk in somewhere and get it Im sure.

Man how things have changed in regards to getting it early.

It comes out on the 12th which is Tuesday but obviously can pick it up at midnight Monday. I remember the days when I would wait in line for this but now I will just pick it up when I get off work in the morning. Probably won't play it til that weekend due to work.

I remember countdowns with uniform numbers, people calling 24 places to see if they had it early and if they would sell it early, scouting people at Toys R Us and places to see if they would break store policy, all kinds of madness.

I kind of miss those days.

I will do my usual.

Get game.

Avoid playing BigScrub at all cost.

Play Nole about 10 times.

Start beating Nole and declare that I'm back.

Go play COD.

Go 5-7 every season.

The night at work where we made the playbook page with the O-coordinator headset, followed by the stalker trips to Toys R Us and waiting on the delivery truck were pretty epic!!!

Even better. The day I'm at my house sleeping around lunchtime cause I worked the night before. Nole calls you to say the game is in Tally. You come knocking on my door, blowing up my cell, no answers. It's raining, next thing I know, you're knocking on my window of my bedroom in my yard in the rain LOL.

Then, I was just like, nah I'll give you money to get the game for me cause I was still half asleep, not thinking about the awesomeness that was the pending trip to Tally. I came around quickly though haha.

You coach at Backman Mac, that is awesome! Do you happen to know a guy named Scott Collins who used to coach there a few years back?

Just talked to my guy over at the shop and got my pre-order in he says I should be able to pick up my copy tomorrow after 3pm pst. If anyone gets it early I will be on all night tomorrow to play some games!

No I dont, this is the start of my 3rd year there, and I know Coach Fischel is still the Varsity Coach if you know who he is.
