USBL Watch: Top Ten Players (So Far)

So, how is the addition of the USBL faring? Very well, I think. A lot of players that would be sitting on their couch and not improving are playing. Most impressive is the list of rookies getting some playing time. I am fairly certain these guys would have been out of school and nowhere without this league. If you compare the rookie stats (by going to Statistics and fiddling with the dropdown menus) of both the NDLB and the USBL, you will notice one difference: the NDL list of rookies is generally filled with a small group of players; the USBL has a shitload of rookies.

Top 10 USBL Players

1. SP Toshio Yamada (Pittsburgh)
NDLB Connection(s): Concordia, Sioux City

3-0, 0.83 ERA, 1.11 WHIP

2. SP Raul Martinez (Detroit)

3-0, 0.87 ERA, 1.02 WHIP

3. SP Mike Wood (Nashville)
NDLB Connection(s): None

3-0, 1.23 ERA, 0.73 WHIP

4. SP Sojuro Oike (Idaho)
NDLB Connection(s): None

1-1, 1.29 ERA, 0.95 WHIP

5. Taizo Kamida (New Mexico)
NDLB Connection(s): None

3-0, 1.61 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, 24/0 K/BB

6. LF Brendon Frazier (Nashville)

396/458/755, 4 HR, 12 RBI

It's the "OTHER" Major League that trendon set up. Therefore, it's a competing MLB that stole our players during free agency!

Like the XFL?

Do they have crazy uniforms and cheerleaders at every base or something?

Yes, this must have been during my hiatus.

Hello Corey,

I'm your long lost uncle on your mama's side. I recently inherits several millions dollars from my lost long dad who passed on after a severe bout of the flu. Unfortunately he mistakenly spell my name, Corney, as Corey in his Last Will and Testament. I've been instructed by my lawyers that you could help fix this predicaments. If you would send me $10,000 in American Dollars I could have the Will officially changed. The will was leaving me $100 million American Dollars and I would be willing to give you half!

Please send the money soon so I can fix this and we can both be riches! The monies has to be sent as a cashiers check made out to "CASH".

My boat-house address is:

Uncle Corney
House Boat 24; Tampa Bay Boat Marina
Tampa, Florida

Sinceresly,

Your Uncle Corney
