One of the coolest stories EVER

Girlfriend and I were talking yesterday about how the news nowadays is nothing but negative stories, you rarely see anything positive and uplifting anymore. And then she found this....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTysXITBCmk
This video was put online on Monday. I'm sure a few of our Ohio guys can give us some more info, but here is the info from the Youtube page:
Throwing this video from the Columbus Dispatch out there, hoping we can find this talent a place to call home.
UPDATE-1: Many thanks go out to all of you who have been tossing phone numbers and e-mails my way for Ted's sake. I went up to Hudson/I-71 (Columbus) today, but Ted wasn't there. He is going to be on air tomorrow morning on radio station WNCI. I've left my contact info w/WNCI to call/e-mail me on a way to get your enormous opportunities over to him.
I'm going to give him a Trac phone (w/ample minutes) so that he can return calls to all of you.
Hopefully, in some way I'll get in contact w/him. Peace.
UPDATE-2: To all those who have been writing me (as one of Ted's only means of contact), I have learned that the radio station interviewing him tomorrow (1-5-11) a.m. is going to make him a formal offer. Whether true or not, we'll see.
Hope it works out well for him. That was the whole point of me posting this video. I cannot thank enough everyone who was willing to do their part in offering Ted their helping hand.
Whoever lands him is certainly getting much more than a memorable personality; they're getting a great human being as part of their team.
My best to all.
UPDATE-FINAL: Well everyone. You can give yourselves and Ted a high-five. He's being given offers hand-over-fist over the air. He'll be set for life.
My request to all. Whenever you run across a story such as this, don't assume it'll take a life of its own, on its own. It won't. It can't. There are too many other stories that drown out the one before it.
You need to spend time to get that story and its word out to many. If you care, you'll do it.
Keep the faith, pay forward and always lend a hand; even if you're the one who needs it.
God bless Mr. Williams. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him for sometime to come.
And my gf texted me a bit ago and informed me that he has not only been offered a JOB by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but also a HOME.

LOL!
The Cleveland Cavaliers: A representative of the Cavs called into "The Morning Zoo" on WNCI, a local Ohio station, this morning to offer Williams a full-time voice-over job and a house.
The NFL: No offer has been made yet, but a director of post-production from the NFL told The Columbus Dispatch, "My boss said to me: 'If you don't get him hired, you're fired.' ... I can't make any guarantees, but I'd love to get him some work."
The Ohio Credit Union League: Also on WNCI this morning, Williams was offered a $10,000 opportunity to do voice-over work for the Ohio Credit Union League, pending a background check.
MTV: Someone claiming to be from MTV called into "The Morning Zoo" to say that they'd love to work with Williams.
ESPN: According to WNCI, ESPN has expressed interest in Williams, too.
Radio: A Pennsylvania radio station is apparently interested in Williams.
Giving back: The television station WBNS-TV wants to use Williams as a narrator for One Day To End Homelessness, a telethon planned for Jan. 31.

I know I am going to get the "you're a downer' comments, but what how is this the coolest story ever?
The guy fucked his own life up with drugs and alcohol. There are legit good parents out there out of work. Give some of them jobs, not this bum

If he actually has been clean for two years like he says, then he deserves a chance. He has a talent, should be able to use it.

economy has been bad, and the unemployed is filled with people (esp. parents) who have houses and are more clean cut, it's the economy.

there are plenty of people who have great voices. this guy is getting a job because its a viral video that is going to give them free publicity AND he has a great voice.
i got no issues with it... makes sense for the company and if this guy fucks up then its on him. i actually don't like charities for homeless and things like that normally either.

look, I'm not saying the NO ONE should hire him. However, lets not act like he deserves it.
And lets certainly not call this the "coolest story EVER"

I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say.

i disagree with this
if his voice is that good (i'm no voice-over expert), he certainly deserves it.
there are plenty of fuck ups in the NFL, NBA who make millions. they might be complete losers but they have a talent and deserve to be compensated for it if it can help out the company he's employed by.
if this guy starts using money for crack and booz he wont be employed more then a month

ok my thoughts arent coming accross right. I dont HATE this guy. I think saying its the coolest story ever, and of ALLLL people Trendon agrees, is a HUGE overstatement.
Good for him. Maybe he'll make a billion some day.
trendon listed all those job offers. How many of those companies said the words "sorry we're not hiring' this week.

the companies hiring him are going to get HUGE publicity and HUGE ratings for next to nothing for hiring this guy. that translates into better ratings and more ad money. so sure they may not hire a voice over guy who is EXACTLY the same as him but this guy offers a much bigger bang for their buck because he comes with this hype.
its far from the coolest story ever... probably not even cooler then trendons own apartment story

i know why they are doing it. Just sucks in my opinion. Smart business. Still though
I have issue when the media props up these drug/alcohol rehabbed people and ask the public to care.
What about people who do things "right"
