One more blowout like the Kstate game and Mack Brown may be looking to apply for the Colorado gig.

CU needs to go back to getting kids that won't go to Nebraska because they wear red and it conflicts with gang colors.

Colorado should be lucky to have a football program after the Neuheisel era. If the world didn't see how fucked Southern Methodist was after they got the death penalty, Colorado would have been given the same treatment. They had like 90 violations, all but about a handful were under his reign.

He went from Boulder to Seattle. He was coaching at CU for five or six years, some as an assistant and tanked the program. I love that man.

I haven't tried doing any reading on this....are people really already getting impatient with Mack Brown? If so, people anymore are nuts. One "bad" season after a run like they had and they are already thinking about possibly needing to replace the guy? He's never won fewer then 9 games at Texas and have had 9 straight ten win seasons before this year. Give the guy a break. It's amazing how much a qb can do for a team.

I will never understand when people ask for Mack Brown situation coaches to be fired. Like posted above, he has had one of the longest 10 win season streaks that came to an end this year, and he has one bad year and they act like this is the normal. Probably 110 or more of the 120 teams would take Mack Brown in a heartbeat.

Texas is one of the easiest coaching jobs in the country. They never have to recruit and they schedule cupcakes every year :|

Was reading on ESPN that Bill McCartney may be throwing his 70 year old hat in the mix, lol. Love the guy from back in the 80's and 90's but wonder if he can just step in after so long and be effective in all aspects.

Snyder did it.

Now, can McCartney get away from his CEO position with jesus Inc or whatever he is heading up now?

Snyder was gone what? Three seasons? McCartney has been out of coaching since like 94 I believe.

Snyder is, like, 104 years old, though, so that balances it out.

Mack Brown is a manager, not a coach. It seems like this is common these days though... Very interesting stuff.

I have heard from two credible sources that Snyder is the worst coach to work for in all the NCAA

He sure produces great coaches underneath him
