In week 2 of the 20th NDL season this game is heavily favored by Virginia Tech to win but not so fast my friends. This game will be a barn burner and I expect the Gophers to beat those Turkeys errr I mean Hokies! Do not get me wrong CANE 7 and the Gophers will have their hands full vs a very tough and physical Virginia Tech football team but I do think the Gophers have what it takes to take home the WIN!

Reasons why Minnesota will win....They have a very good physical running team that can chew up the clock and put points on the board. They also have a good WR core to help not have VT stack 8 men in the box which will give more room for the running game to pound the front 7 of the VT Defense. Another strong part of this team is the Secondary which are probably the best part of the defense. They can hit hard and they can make some plays which is how the Gophers will win this game, by TURNOVERS! Look for Duane Bennett to have a good day vs a tough VT defense.

Reasons why Virginia Tech could prove me wrong.... VTrunNgun and his Hokies are ranked in the top 5 this season for a good reason, it is because they are talented and he knows how to win football games. Ryan Williams and Tyrod Taylor will be the key to the Hokies winning this game. They need to control the game and keep the Gophers off balance to be able to win this one. Their defense looks stacked as always so if the offense can not get anything going they will look to their always dominating defense to win this game for them.

At the end of the game
In the end I think that the Minnesota Gophers will outplay the Hokies and will win this game. It will be a close one but I think that when the smoke clears and the last second on the clock ticks to zero, Minnesota will be VICTORIOUS!

Man the INCAA, I remember that league, it was awesome. I was Auburn the first year, then Air Force the next. I remember beating a ranked Oregon State team 3-0 with Air Force one year. That league was like the precursor to the NDL.
