Week 1

Colorado (thedonkeysho) at Colorado State (gambit725) The Annual Showdown at Mile High that only one state will be glued to their sets for!
Louisville (footballkelly31) at Kentucky (Crowes) A great basketball matchup between Pitino and Calipari.
Notre Dame (wj5811) at Purdue (Daw1git) This will be a classic matchup, a marque game due to the coaches not the teams.
Utah State (Frankie7512) at Utah (bearass) Always a high scoring affair that only the state of Utah cares about.
East Carolina (Toro) at Tulsa (tiger51) Can Toro finally break the bowl infidelity?
Iowa (VeniVediV1ci) at Mississippi (nick_wadden_) You ever wonder if these are the same person sometimes?
Louisiana Tech (runthepound) at Air Force (TheChunkster) The Academy should win this one but don't sleep on the Dogs.
Louisiana-Monroe (BigZZ916) at Akron (Twinky 34) Really? Noob gets a Noob reincarnated.
Baylor (cougnix) at Arizona (packsyD22) Nice matchup of quality teams.
Arkansas (Steamrollr22) at Duke (USMarine7t) Gotta admire the Marine for taking Dookies and scheduling Razorbacks. Won't be close though.
Nebraska (6ftdeep) at Army (sirloin) Ummmm, ok, at least the chat will be entertaining with the sultry 6ft and the over the top Beefy!
Auburn (huskerkev84) at California (DaGreenMachine) This should be a good one. It's on ESPN2 at 10pm est so might want to tune in.
LSU (shel311) at Ball State (hitem4781) For shame.....after week 1, USC will be ranked #1 due to this scheduling booboo.
Boise State (Ank) at Southern Methodist (PuRdUeFaN4LiFe) Broncos schedule is at OU, other than that, nobody! Tisk, tisk...
Florida (ajalves) at Boston College (JustGiver31) Closer than the experts may think....No surprise AJ wanted to play in Chestnut.
Bowling Green (rworkman83) at Louisiana-Lafayette (BsktbllJk) Rajin Cajuns looking to win the Sun Belt again.
Michigan State (The Weasel) at Brigham Young (JohnnyP) Brotherly battle, may the best Weasel win! Come On big bro, you gonna let little bro beat ya again?
Illinois (brwnbear) at Buffalo (trendon) We can only hope Trendon shows up for this one to defend the one voter that voted for him.
Central Florida (Block M) at Clemson (DRWebs) Nice matchup on ESPN2 at Noon!
Indiana (LetsGoPeay) at Central Michigan (Bernie32) PeayBoy looking for another solid season in Hoosierland.
Cincinnati (UCWeiser) at Toledo (cnotes008) Toledo overmatched in battle of Ohio.
Connecticut (driccio21) at North Carolina State (NCSUholmey) ESPNU will show this at 6pm so tune in for this gritty game of gritty coaches.
Eastern Michigan (wsdp) at Rice (Cîroc™) Welcome to a butt kicking Noob!
Idaho (tball275) at Florida Atlantic (Feistygator) Two veterans square off in this non epic battle.
Memphis (jeffdaddy12) at Florida International (Cnasty) Mandatory drinking between plays!
Texas Tech (bigred) at Florida State (Nole4real™) ABC at 330 in regional broadcast. I would actually watch this one.
Western Kentucky (SgtHeartman) at Georgia (TheRealDray) Looks like the Dogs have a scrimmage before facing Cocky!
Ohio (Vsu95) at Houston (RanDawg) Did you see Houston's schedule? Come on RanDawg, grow some!
Kansas (ReignOnU) at UCLA (beercop) Fox Sports will cover this nice inter conference matchup!
Kansas State (taruncheel) at UAB (heat2698) Fox Sports will not cover this inter conference matchup!
Marshall (Matt54987) at USC (walker213) Ok, maybe USC won't be #1 after this week since they are playing the Herd.
Ohio State (buckeye76) at Miami (FL) (BIGmike) ABC in primetime at the Gameday Crew is on South Beach! Buckeye gets major props for scheduling big dogs!!!!
Michigan (Ice2006) at Washington State (ndlquack) Sorry Quack, this is Pullman, not Eugene!
Minnesota (CANE 7) at Texas Christian (Mtwasik) Go Gophers but man this will be tough!
Mississippi State (vicktim7) at Wisconsin (black rain) I know MSU is SEC but Badgers OOC is cupcake for a Top 10-15 team.
Northwestern (Hoos) at Navy (seeitsaveit13) This game will be televised on the Oxygen Channel for all the pansies! Ok, too easy.
Southern Mississippi (shiftdnb) at Nevada (Old KY Shark) Nice matchup of two good coaches.
New Mexico State (jhowle45) at Texas A&M (fsupenguin) Pengy gets a Noob to begin the After Ank season. Tough shoes to follow.
North Carolina (Sorocco88) at South Florida (mcx79) ESPNU at Noon in this nice matchup.
Virginia Tech (VTrunNgun) at Northern Illinois (Hart20Heisman) VT, I saw your OOC, not up to your standards buddy.
Oklahoma (Dealer4014) at Washington (ukwildcatfan17) ABC in regional action in this good matchup. UDub will be ranked if they can pull this one out!
Tulane (Uuaww) at Oklahoma State (chuskerpride) Tulane starts another 0'fer campaign, but I think we actually want to see a win, probably won't happen this week.
Rutgers (Mr_Amazin) at Oregon (autiger730) Nice matchup but man those guys are fast at Oregon.
Penn State (OracleHCR) at UNLV (dolemitesooner) PSU's OOC is PU!
Vanderbilt (texasfan4444) at Pittsburgh (doc1424) Good matchup between two good coaches. Fox Sports picked this up for a 7 pm start.
Syracuse (UnTouchable8) at San Jose State (DJDunn6) The Orange in a rout!
South Carolina (ChampDawg) at UTEP (Quest4Gold) Quest seeking revenge after last season, but Champ is cockier!
West Virginia (Talented1) at Temple (DCHarder33) Good matchup that Owls might surprise and stay within 3 scores.
Virginia (kdog36) at Tennessee (LytezOut) We all like kdog cause he is a fighter but playing in RockyTop is no easy task.
Western Michigan (gobucks95) at Texas (BigStimpin) At least BigPimpin is doing what the real Horns do and schedule punching bags.
Troy (Dakshdar) at Wake Forest (BuckI2000) This should be close, edge to home team.

Champ's Thought's:

Not going to knock Week 1 games for the Big Dogs but some OOC are extremely turrible in the upcoming weeks. Kudos to those playing big games in Week 1! There are some quality matchups this week between solid coaches. I think I can safely say that nothing against BigScrub, but does anyone not want Buckeye to pull off this one? That Nolie vs BigRed is a good one as well. Dealer and jsense have a battle in Seattle.I can't forget the Block/DD game, that shoud be intense. Two of our dynasty coaches go at it in Raleigh and let's not forget the Napolean complex game! I am looking forward to another great season in the best league EVER! GL to all the teams and let's have a great, fun season!

Houston is a B-

Just FYI . . . I challenged Nebraska (B+), Texas Tech (B), and Utah (B) but either did not hear back or was told they were already booked.

Texas A&M (B+) and Kansas (B-) are good games.

I play Relio every season . . . so I guess as long as he keeps Ohio, ya, should be an easy W. The New Mexico game was because some of the challenges I sent out did not get answered thus the NDL GODS put them on the Houston schedule.

And not getting defensive, just trying to shed some light on the subject just a bit.

And of the 5 non-BSC schools that might have a shot at going undefeated this year, I would say TCU has the strongest schedule and Houston is right behind them (looking soley at teams played, not who is coaching them).

BUT . . . all in all . . . great write-up . . . I love reading this stuff. GG Champ...

Nice write up Champ.

Honestly Im not playing for now with Boise, but a future top 5 pick. Max win goal is 10 ( I cant stop a sole on AA) so I figure keep Boise these next 2 season if I can and be set up nice for when next years game drops.

Nice Job! However, Fox Sports could cover the game. :) (Could have put Local Blackout rules apply)

I know (well, maybe not), but I have been ragged on for several seasons now because of my schedule. So I just felt it was time to say something.

I do wonder sometimes what type of success I would have if I had Texas, but I guess only the good Lord would know the answer to that one.

Nice write-up. Dawgit and I have played about 100 games against each other so no matter what teams we have it will be a fight down to the wire as always.
