UConn offense is more then fine.

we were 21st in the country in points scored last year and we return basically every key piece other then wr Marcus Easley (who is a big loss at WR). Todman is going to blow people away this season (partly due to how good he is and partly due to how nasty our Oline is) and we're in year 2 with our new offensive coordinator. He was only able to implement the no-huddle for portions of the season last year but this year they'll be running it from day 1.

our secondary is the only thing that scares me this season and it could really be a huge problem. Jasper Howard (the dude who died) would have been the best player on the defense, probably the team so that is still a hole they are trying to fill.

9 wins is a realistic goal, anything less would be a let down. Michigan game is huge considering its opening day at the renovated Big House and its a must win game for RRod. We also get WVU at home on a friday night ESPN game and then Pitt at home the following week on a thursday night ESPN game. Cincy is also a home game. Rutgers on the road will be tough simply because its an ESPN friday night game.

oh i'm not saying its big in terms of talent. its just huge cause RRod gonna lose his job and its on national tv.

any road game on national TV in front of 100k fans is a big game to start a season.

we dont pound the rock like the Donald Brown days, its much more balanced now.

we run a no huddle hybrid now since we got the new o-coordinator. part spread, part pro-style. our 2 qb's (frazer got hurt) threw for 2815 yards last year and our 2 rb's ran for 2281.

i would argue they're much more black, but they have never played well against RR's scheme


...and I have just always seen Edsall being conservative in big games and I think he'll be more conservative in Ann Arbor because he knows what kind of mark that'd put on the program
