It's pretty sad

I know I shouldn't post this but it's kinda sad when you sign up to play in this league but make no effort to get your games in, I know people have a life and it's not just playing video games, but I have a wife and family, work 10 hour shifts and a fulltime student but I make an effort to play all my games because I committed to play in this league, but this season in the sunbelt there will be alot of sim games because of unplayed games from coaches that made little effort if any to play their games for those who played your games in the sunbelt thanks for playing and gl the rest of the way.

it's understandable that you're upset, but for how awful this game is you gotta understand how hard it is to sign up and waste an hour and 15 minutes playing a terrible game well after the actual season's over

Bullshit.
If the game is awful and college football is over, step down before season 3 if you're not gonna even try to get your games in.
As I've said before, no one is forcing anyone to waste an hour and 15 minutes of there lives over and over again every week.

I still don't get where this game is "awful". There will NEVER be a perfect game. People will bitch and moan every year about things. Just have to deal with what is given to us and enjoy it.

Offensively this game is better than last year, defense took a step backwards. I wish you could play a game that ended 24-14 and still have stats to prove the winner. Now you have a 42-17 game and the losing team has the stats that the winner should have.
True dat to it will never be perfect...
Understandable that people would be upset if the games get simmed...
No excuses for guys that sign up and then don't play their games...
No reason to point fingers, tears leagues apart, I've seen it, as many others have...

I am now 100% with you. For the past few months, my main complaint has lied with the players in this league and the not the game itself so much. As you may have read, I go into a rage since 115 out of 120 coaches all run the same exact offense and I find it terribly boring and cheap. To counter that, I started running an offense that is a complete juxtaposition and it has ruined my enjoyment of the game.
I promise that, next season, I will find whatever offense/defense works and use it early and often with little regard for chivalry or excitement. I am not a very good player in the first place, so I can't be purposely running plays that don't work just to be different.

3rd season of every year is usually the "down" season. Everyone os giddy with excitement for the 1st season and the 2nd basically coincides with the real season thus a burnout comes soon after.

Agree!
You are also correct about people bitching every year...if you want the real thing go get a helmet and some pads.
Plus, if we got through NCAA 05, we can get through anything haha.

Wasn't that the year IMPACT players were Superhuman?
And I hate to post this, but "I love this game!"

Oh shit and I thought I was the only one.

I play the shit out of this one and will continue to do so until NCAA '11 drops.

Trendon... if I can get a handle on an idea that I might bring to the NDL:L this season, we'll need to schedule a game for next season. I can assure you, my offense will be anything but boring.

Agreed. But like you said, we know that going in, so deal with it and play.
The 2 main reasons why that happens is because with 6 min quarters, we run so fewer plays than in real life, and the other reason is the fact that we throw so many more INTs than teams in real life do, and that always ends up skewing offensive stats as well.
