Check your local Gamestop to see if they are running a special for trade ins. I walked in to get the MLB Show 10 and they were running a special on trade in values for every game, no matter how old it is from the PS2, XBOX 360, Wii or PS3, you get an extra 50% trade in. I just traded in the PS3 Modern Warfare 2 for $40.00. I am going to go back and check through the old stack to see what I can trade in.

Good stuff! I traded in my NCAA 10 & Madden 10 for a combined $52.50. Store credit, ready and waiting, for NCAA 11, come July 13th!

I tried to play the game on the PS3, as it was a gift to me by a friend. But, I have the same game for the XBOX 360 and I play that one a lot. No point on having two of the same game, when I can concentrate on one........especially since I play only Hardcore. I rarely see you on the 360 Dakshdar. Correction, I received exactly $40.00 for the MW2.

Was that at the GameStop with 50% more trade in credit? I would think you would receive more if it was combined with this promotion.

I think its everywhere cause they are running the same deal over here too!

Beat Dante's inferno last week so turning that one win and started my Gamefly subscription.

Hopefully The Show will be like $5 after the trade in or so.

Yes, that's what it said. All I know is that I was surprised that I received $26 for either game, at this point. Maybe it has something to do with being in Iowa. They're probably giving twice as much, per game, on the two coasts!

I'm pretty much never on my 360. It is a giant, dusty paperweight next to my TV. I haven't bought a new game for it in over a year.

The trade-in value for NCAA and Madden sounds right, even with the +50%. They probably only give about $15 for NCAA and $20 for Madden, so $35 * 1.5 = $52.50.

Remember, it isn't like they're doubling what they give you when you get 50% more, you're getting an extra half.

I enjoy the convenience of using Gamestop and trading in for other games, particularly when they have deals with their used stuff also (buy 2 get 1 free). You can always get more from Craigslist or eBay, but the effort required is a bit higher as well (a little more effort for Craigslist, a lot for eBay with the shipping).

And FYI, this will also stack with the Edge Card for anyone that has that, meaning you get an extra 60% on trade-ins (since you automatically get an extra 10% with the card).

I would trade in my NCAA if heartman would ever show his face.

I know, stinks. Id love to trade in NCAA and The Show if I determine Im not going to play it much.
