Well, my bro has been using my PS3 lately since he was letting jganci use his, and before his NDL:L game tonight we got an error not letting him sign into the PSN. I read up on it and before it seemed like all the issues were with the system and had to be sent to Sony. Well, it appears that it may be on Sony's end this time. Just wanted to throw out the FYI in case anyone else had the same issue

yeah im getting that error right now...not letting me sign in. Hopefully they get it fixed pretty soon.

Yeah I am getting the same shit and I was just playing it like 30 minutes ago.I have done some searches and it appears there are lots of people having this issue.Woo! I thought my PS3 shit died on me. Won't even let me play offline cause the trophy registration or some shit it says.This fuckin sucks!!

A virus, seriously? Just speculation but on page 9 of that thread some guy called sony and that's what the person suggested might be going on. Something about replacing all ps3's with a warranty. I can't help but think that its a huge conspiracy theory on sonys end and force people to repair or buy new ps3's all together...

Another interesting note, somebody mentioned its only the fat ps3's and not the slims having the problems. Mine happens to be an original fat boy, anyone else?

Interestingly enough, Netflix works so its not a problem with connecting to the internet

i got the fatty and mine does not work as well

I got some friends of mine that are online right now playing and they have the original PS3, this is quite frustrating.

well our fatty isnt working but i got my slim back and the slim ended up working, i wonder if it has to do with the yellow light thing that was going bad on all the brand new ones

Well this sucks...

With no NCAA I figured I will finally open the Assassins 2 game I bought got for Christmas. I start the game and it tells me I need an update before I can play. However, I can't log in to get the update.

Figure, no problem, I waited this long whats a few more days. So I open the Bioshock game I bought today and it tells me the same damm thing.

put in fifa and get some bullshit about trophies.it makes me quit game.
