i believe if you click 'view active topics' in the top left corner it will pull up the most recent threads. kinda of a backup plan for new posts.

MIS RAH BUL ride home man since we went monday before we left

we had actually heard "its not that good anymore since she dont make it to the store too much" and all this blah blah blah and that was utter bullshit

the fried chicken was average to slightly above average but everything else was just fucking nutty

for "bread", they give you a biscuit on a pancake

thats right....a biscuit.....on a pancake

its so fucking good, you dont even put syrup or ANYTHING on them....hard to describe....you just eat them and its fucking goodness

the macaroni and cheese was exactly what youd expect..a 14 on a scale of 1 to 10...im a bit of a mac n cheese Connoisseur and make a mean homemade one using paulas recipe but it was ridiculous there....

i dont even like collard greens and i was wolfing that with blackeyed peas and mashed potatoes, green beans and rice down like there was no tomorrow

overall, it was evrything i dreamed it would be from watching the show

side note: D just texted me this morning after our weekend binge that her pants were tight and provided me details on "our" new regimen for Key West and other summer prepartions

This white boy does. Collard greens and black eyed peas are the bomb. I miss good southern cooking being up here in the north.

My family can make it "good" but still...ive never been enamoured with either

at this restaraunt though....i think its what they are supposed to be

if you (or anyone else reading this) wants a nice little "different" getaway I recommend Savanahh. Its "quaint and charming"...and you get to eat at Lady and Sons (the restaraunt)...dont stay more than 2 days though...seems it'd get boring after that

i used to vacation with the Calhoun family every summer when i was dating his neice in Hilton Head and we'd do Savannah for a couple days each trip.

Quaint and charming are good words to describe it

great golf courses too

Niiiiiiiiiice, glad my "reco" came through. Yea I heard ridiculous things about how good it is like the way you put it.

Glad it worked out.

Its hilarious about D because mine is all dieting and stuff to get into her "Key West attire" and she gives me the dirty looks when Im pounding down some ribs and all that greatness.

Good times
