8:50 PM here in Athens. My flight out of Tulsa took off at 3:30 Saturday afternoon...Lucky for me cause i didn't get a chance to see Texas look like chumps instead of champs. Luckily, all will be forgotten if they can pull off a miracle win in Pasadena.

any who....left Dallas at 5:00pm Saturday flew to Madrid landed at 09AM. Took off at 12pm Sunday and got here at 4pm. Ive had 30 minutes of sleep since Saturday morning and a total of 14 hours since Tuesday.

I have to wake up tomorrow morning and work all week with some clients that are incompetent and need some help.

My company knew they were sending me on a bad enough suicide mission that the paid to have Michele fly out here with me.

I hate to complain about spending 8 days in Athens for free with my wife, but the BS ill have to put up with is going to make me swim back to the states.

/end rant....better you guys hearing this than my clients or my wife. Carry on.

13-12 in SEC = great

13-12 in Big XII = man they suck

It will be okay. And it will not be a miracle win for Texas if they beat Alabama (which should have at least 1 loss this season if not for a blocked kick?)

LOL. I do have faith. But seeying hte numbers 180 passing yards ZERO TDS and 3 INTS worries me. Thats our bread and butter and for that to go so badly means there is a problem somewhere.

I do think its Colts year. He played his way out of the heisman talk with that last imporession, but I think he will right the ship and get us another BCS tittle.

Lets hope so.

I do predict a very physical defensive struggle and Texas finds a way to win it late

Texas should have at least one loss if not for a kick out of bounds and a horsecollar.

At least Bama actually caused the blocked kick. Texas just got lucky.

And Suh is a manchild, best player in the country and it's not even close. I've said it since they played Mizzou when i got my first look and I think it's a joke that he's not even in the Heisman race.

...aside from that, Mount Cody won't be in much against a spread offense and we'll move the pocket a bit limiting him. He's nothing like Ndemakong and that makes me verrrrrrrry happy.

I don't think the kick out of bounds, the horse collar, or even putting a second back on the clock (when supposedly it's not even reviewable) can be pin pointed as to why Nebraska lost. Texas let ALOT of clock run on that last drive, especially once they got into field goal range. Even with the dumb kick out of bounds or without the horse collar, no one can say for sure NU could have kept that out of field goal range. It's football, nothing is a given. I'm as disappointed as any Nebraska fan, but I'm a realist. Do you know what Texas fans would have said if that last field goal would have went wide left? They would have been saying "woulda, coulda, shoulda" just like NU fans are saying. It was a great game to watch and I really do think Texas has a chance at "upsetting" Bama.

Uhhh maybe you did not watch the Florida/Bama game like some of the rest of us but there is a reason Tebow and Co stopped running the ball mid way through the second quarter....Mt. Cody....he shut down the whole middle with his surge.

Bama has prob the best secondary I have seen all season and if they can pass rush like Braska did in some for or another they will win the ball game.

i don't think they can pass rush like Nebraska did because they don't have Suh on their team. If Bama is going to get heat, they are going to have to blitz and the short passing (TTU style) will get them, I think/hope.

...i will say i didn't watch a second of the UF-AL game, but I still don't think Cody will have that much of an effect because I think we'll abandon the run early

Who knows, but I think:

1. I think Bama can blitz and still have a sick secondary that can contain the YAC on those sport passes by Colt. Silly comparison, but much like the Saints did on Welker on MNF last week.

2. I'm just not sure if Bama's D can be beat with a 1 dimensional offense.


We shall see.

I'm ready for Greg Davis to throw out his "save my job" gameplan in the NC because if we look awful I could see a knee-jerk move to get Major Applewhite calling plays and not the current moron.

If not, we're gonna need some serious +territory turnovers
