Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
The Beef has a chance to have two 50 HR guys, two 30 HR guys, two 20 HR guys and 2 guys in the teens.
Surprisingly, Boston is not one of the best HR hitting teams (not in the top 3).
Rhode Island in 2074 hit 288

And I wasn't even close to being top 3 in runs scored all time for the AL that season, lol.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 2:24 pm The Beef has a chance to have two 50 HR guys, two 30 HR guys, two 20 HR guys and 2 guys in the teens.

I'd say we are on par with MLB dimensions

Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
dimensions in this game are an illusion. it could be 500 all the way around and it wouldn't change anything if i recall
i think its ballpark factors or something

The greatest natural batter in NDLB history might be hitting the waiver wire

Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
Who’s better?
Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
If you are talking about just hitting there are lots of bats who have been better than Cuevas. If you are talking about all around player the list is much shorter.
Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
we are well past last seasons pages in the season thread already ...so that's nice
most of it was Corey bashing , but beggars cant be choosers right?

The best is all the chirpers had no problem draftin Boston dudes during the draft. It wasn’t an issue when the players were on their teams

Hitting WAR includes fielding. It goes back to when you say hitter/batter do you really just mean hitter or just position player in general.nick wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 5:17 pm Cuevas is 8th all time in hitting WAR and most of the names infront of him are suspected edited players.

Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
if anyone can look at Zach Diaz's rating and explain how he is hitting .215, I'd be interested in your theories

Re: 2078 Season Thread... 2 Rings for the Wings
zero reason why he should be hitting .215 with a 68 OSA 73 my scout contact rating. Couple that with his avoid K and eye rating he should definitely be hitting closer to .290-.300.
The only reason I could see is that he couldn't outrun Cecil Fielder
Didn't someone post that OOTP said a 50 contact rating should have an average around .250?
