I wanted Hayward to sign with Boston in the worst way to be reunited

actually sort of concerning/interesting they didn't show more interest.

he had a step back last year in his growth but I still like his game alot

Cavs trade Jarret Jack to Nets, Marcus Thornton a 1st rounder and Tyler Zeller to Celtics

that's the first piece of news that's made me nervous thru this whole process in regards to Lebron.

Yeah, I'd think paying Zeller and a 1st to move Jack and Karasev is definitely moving the chips all in for Lebron. I thought Lebron still had his meeting with Miami today? I would have expected a move like that tomorrow, after the Heat meeting, not before it. That's risky.

funny you say that.

I just texted a buddy of mine who's into this stuff like I am with 'they are playing some real aggressive poker here or they know something'

imagine if Lebron wanted to use the meeting to say good bye face to face. would be the man's thing to do and the timing lines up. MAN.... I went thru this whole process with zero overreactions and now I'm on tilt a little.

I CALL YOUR BLUFF CLEVELAND... ALL IN!!!

Pffffff, you dont say no to Pat Riley and those loafers and hair.

Besides, who wants to voluntarily live in Cleveland??? Those Samsung commercials and other things lose their value with a backdrop like Cleveland over Miami.

He would really be a moron to leave Miami.

if I had to bet, I'd still bet on Miami.

I was 90% confident this whole time.... I'm closer to 60% now.

Cleveland has some serious balls giving up a 1st round pick if they don't have any feeling he's coming back. I may be giving them too much credit that they wouldn't be that dumb/aggressive. Also, Lebron is in Vegas and has been hanging with Wade... would be odd to see that dynamic then he leaves him.

but who knows... congrats Cavs you took Namaste Dave and turned him into an emotional wreck like everyone else.

Cleveland has no assurances... Trevor Ariza is the backup plan... how could this possibly go wrong? :-)

I don't see an actual Woj tweet, so not sure where he's getting it from, but:

Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA For those saying LeBron didn't make the Cavs dump players, @WojYahooNBA reported that Rich Paul told the Cavs to create room for a max deal.

Adios Miami. No way any team is that stupid to free up space if they didn't think it was a guarantee. At the end of the day they run a business. Then again it is a Cleveland franchise..........

it very well could be a desperation move. try to push as much as you can and show them how serious you are as a last ditch effort.

in reality they got rid of Jack (who they wanted to move) and Zeller who is expendable given their roster. the 1st round pick has been reported to be theirs from Woj (who I trust). that's the only piece they are giving up of real value.

the fact its being reported they had no assurances is certainly good to hear if you want him to return to Miami.

Woj hedging his bets:

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Among GM's, there's still belief LeBron James walks into Pat Riley meeting, lays out his 1-2 year max contract proposal and stays w/ Heat.

To show how serious you are? Don't you think they are serious about signing the best thing that has ever happened to that city since Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn? 8-)

least Heat fans, all about 15 genuine ones, can enjoy the 4 finals appearances and 2 titles. I still have to be a Raptors fan :(

I think there is a difference between showing desperation thru actions than thru words.

Supposedly, about an hour ago, Cleveland made an offer to Minny.

don't listen to ANYONE but Woj.

literally, anyone.

this dude also reported that Lebron and Gilbert met over the weekend.
