Sacred Heart gets two commitments from Top 150 players in Week 1.

Had to restart my game (did it immediately) due to grabbing my Air Raid ECU playbook by habit instead of the Sacred Heart playbook.

Sacred Heart never trailed as they easily handle Nevada, 35-21. The turks led 28-7 after 3 quarters and then gave up some garbage time points to Nevada but were never really threatened. Nevada tied the game at 7-7 early in the 2nd quarter, but SH took the lead right back thanks to a 95 yd kickoff return by Doc Hooch, who plans to steal some carries from Turk and have a solid year. Turk, the reigning Heisman winner, had a solid game, rushing for 120 yds and a touchdown on 27 carries; but he also caught 3 passes for 52 yds and another score. Walter Mickhead had a solid game, going 12 of 19 for 241 yds, two TDs and two INTs. All Pac 12 DT Jeremy Clayton had a great game, with 5 tackels, 4 for loss, and two sacks.

Sacred Heart were outgained by about 10 yards but held a 15 to 9 TOP advantage as they handed Nevada the loss at home.

Dont let the score fool ya, the Rollers got dominated today. 40-19. 12 of those points came in garbage time in the 4tht quarter after a TD pass a recovered onside kick and a nother score. However not only did the Rollers fail on both 2 point attempts, but the Corps got 2 of their own on an interception return. thats how bad a day it was for the Rollers.

Flamingo's are for real.

After redshirting a bunch of offensive skill players last season and getting a QB and RB after a transfer year, the offense is loaded. 49 points in a blowout win vs local rival Miami. Storm Johnson, a transfer rb from Miami, led the way in his first game with over 100 yards and 2 td's. Our backup rb is 90 rated as well and he got 9 carries and a td and our 3rd string rb who is also pretty solid got a td of his own. Transfer QB Hutson Mason had 350+ yards passing and 3 td's while former starter Stallings came in late and threw for 60 yards.

i didn't play a down of defense so i'm not sure about them.

we're coming for South Philly!

Yeah this is gonna be a rough year for me. My O=line is struggling to protect and open up holes; thank God that Chris Turk came back or my offense would struggle this year. Defense...meh, glad I have a good DT I can get pressure with cuz my secondary sucks balls.

Luckily I've got a solid group of freshmen and a nice recruiting class already shaping up. This will be a rebuilding year for Sacred Heart, no shot at repeating for the title.
