these exit polls are great. if you were educated or non white, you voted Clinton more than likely. If you were old, white and uneducated you definitely voted trump.
shoutout rural america!!!

Best info I could find quickly was from Gallup which groups them <30. Dems carried 20 point leads in all elections back to 1996, with exception to 2000 Gore vs Bush. Which oddly enough, Gore won the popular vote and if he connected with that group like everyone else in the last 20 years, he would have won the election.
You could probably chalk up 1992 to being of a similar mold, but 20+% of the vote favored Perot... so it's tough to say for sure.

Clinton won the popular vote and lost the election
if you look at the exit polls.. without sounding rude.. uneducated white males in rural america won this for trump. What a fucking disaster\
also for the record - the electoral is stupid. how can the person with more votes lose? what the fuck kinda backward ass system is that?

Blue collar workers that lost their manufacturing/production jobs voted for the person that said he'd build a wall to keep out illegal immigrants, he'd throw down tariffs on imports and hopefully force companies to bring their production back here... #shocked.

This is exactly why he won. He knew where the numbers were. African American and Latino votes would not equal the working class voters that lost jobs due to companies moving them out of the country. Democrats wanted/needed African American and Latino to come out in numbers that President Obama couldn't get in 2008. They needed 100% of those votes and Hillary's policies didn't exactly resonate with them.
It's time to become one again and hope President Trump brings half the jobs back he says he will.

I'm 41, educated, white, and was born and currently live in a rural area. I also lived in Albuquerque, NM from age 4-12 and all my teachers were either hispanic, black, or Native American. Who did I vote for?

I don't even care if he doesn't bring back any jobs. Just don't do anything really bad and keep the seat warm. For the love of God just survive. I don't want Pence touching the white house.

As a native Hoosier, yeah. Nobody deserves Pence. He makes ISIS look like religious liberals.
