Re: NFL Thread
he's been getting CRUSHED for it, we're sooooo sensitive now its astonishing.
i've read things like: 'he is so disrespectful to the vicims' 'this is why sexual misconducts continue to happen' 'the nfl never cared about women, this isn't surprising'
no, the dude made a joke.

Probably 99.9% of those doing this make the same jokes with their friends.DRiccio21 wrote:he's been getting CRUSHED for it, we're sooooo sensitive now its astonishing.

Re: NFL Thread
lol i cant believe im saying this.. ill play devils advocate. might suck for the ppl who were sexually assaulted to hear that joke. It was a great one, but maybe put yourself in the shoes of the like 20 yr old girl sucking the creeps dick to hear this joke.. then ya its not cool.
Re: NFL Thread
of course its not cool. that goes without saying.
nobody is condoning what he said or applauding it.
it just is what it is. at some point we need to decipher intent rather than looking for every possible slip up that happens in public to play 'GOTCHA!!!'
we get some wild empowerment when we catch others failing. Al Michaels made a fucking joke, i don't think it was applauding this dudes actions, if anything he was putting him down... sure was it in bad taste and 'too soon', of course... but lets just try to figure out 'was this guy trying to be inflamatory and nasty' ? if you think he truly was, then go for your social justice crusade... but i would guess 99% of the people bitching just wanted to let out their own personal frustrations by putting someone else down.

Everyone goes for the social justice crusade. It's nauseating. It's like they get internet bonus points if they get a forced apology out of someone.DRiccio21 wrote:of course its not cool. that goes without saying.

Re: NFL Thread
Same with the Cam Newton statement.
It should have just been, "ooh, Cam shouldn't have said that" and then we go about with our days. But it became this thing, it's just funny to see.

Re: NFL Thread
Kaep suing NFL owners on the basis of collusion. He is going to have a hard time proving this one. And if he succeeds, good luck finding a team that will sign him.
I believe he is better than some QB's on NFL rosters right now. But is the off the field attention that he brings worth the potential headache that he may bring to a club. I think that is what they are weighing when they decided not to sign him. Just my take

I think this is the final straw of him never getting a job again but at some point I think he felt he needed to take that next step...whatever that next step was.GeorgesGoons wrote:Kaep suing NFL owners on the basis of collusion.
I can't blame him and it is absolutely ridiculous he doesnt have a job but I cannot see how he can prove this.
Maybe a good ol fashion skills competition throwing at moving targets and golf carts between him and the other NFL QBs.

Had the game on and my wife heard this... we just looked at each other like "uh oh." Knew this one wasn't going to go over well.

I still have yet to see someone who could spin it like Cunningham. He threw such a pretty ball
