i'd be more outraged (whatever word you want to use) if he did change his mind and was afraid to say it cause of what he had previously said.

Oh, he's definitely getting picked apart over it, but that wasn't my intent. Maybe he did his research, talked to his family members with military experience and changed his stance, which is totally ok.

But nonetheless, it's still a hell of a 180 to make that quickly.

thats good stuff.

the 'winning' goes back to subjective vs objective thinking and ego.

love and truth are the answer. we'll get there. might have to kill half the population for a leader to step up, but we'll get there eventually.

I don't get all the outrage about kneeling during the anthem. I am way late to commenting about it, I understand. I just simply couldn't care less.

I think its dumb......but its "peaceful" in nature.

Why the hell is the Anthem played before all sporting events anyhow?

Wow, that would actually be an interesting turn wouldn't it? NFL decides it's bad publicity so they just ban doing the anthem before all games.

because we all want to tell everyone how smart we are and how they don't 'get it'.

thats the issue.

the 'winning'.

its all dumb, we're all idiots... embrace it. just live and let live and be a robot

In all actuality the players really don't have a leg to stand on. If the owner says stand or be fined or fired then that's what they have to do. Nothing to do with freedom of speech or anything like that. It's a private Enterprise. It's no different if your boss said no cussing at work and you cuss like a sailor, you could be suspended or fired. And it's your legal right to say whatever you want, but your firing/suspension isn't covered by the 1st amendment to keep that firing from happening.

And we as paying customer for a product we have the right to say what we want in regards of the product. If they don't change and they lose their customer that's on them. If the customer doesn't like it and continues to pay for the product it's on the person
