Excited to see what this kid can do as he is the only player in the game with 100+ steal and speed ratings and the centerpiece of many trade discussions the last couple years.

Hate to mess with the mojo though on a 10 game winning streak.
The moment was too big for ya rook.

Your day will come.

Edward Stevens and Ken Mullins the same way, but really small sample sizes

Yea I have always preferred for the September call up versus thrust into the bigs on opening day. No rhyme or reason, just feels better from a little digital fella mentality.

You should focus on not being a mediocre owner who has the same amount of championships as a bad owner
You joined in 2022 taking over for Sioux City which was built for a run.

Top Batters
Wayne Washington - Draft 2017 (by Sioux) - Incorrect, drafted by LVO in 7th round
Antonio Serrano Draft 2017 (by Sioux) - incorrect, drafted by PO in 7th round
Steve Bryant - Draft 2021 (by Sioux) - incorrect, drafted by OCD in 2nd round
Jim Cole - Traded/signed in 2024 (yours)
Bill McMinn - Traded/signed in 2023 (yours)
Kevin Saunders Draft 2019 (by Sioux) - incorrect, drafted by whoever Billy took over for in supplemental 1st round
Lynwood Malone Draft 2019 (by Sioux) - incorrect, drafted by whoever Billy took over for in 1st round

Top Pitchers
John Patton - Draft 2016 (by Sioux) - was drafted by Dr. Tom, but was traded to Trendon and I was able to steal him back
Miguel Hernandez Draft 2019 (By Sioux) - incorrect was drafted by OCD in 1st round
Bob Smith Draft 2019 (By Sioux) - incorrect was drafted by LVO in supplemental 1st round

you won your title off the back of the previous owners work. Based off WAR, 5 of the 7 top hitters on your title team you inherited and the 3 good pitchers you had were all inherited as well. Your team was good enough then to beat Reign and somehow in this era you cant even field a playoff team? Try earning your own title before you call me mediocre.
Were you high last night? This was easy to debunk. I know John Patton was traded for from Trendon but I cannot prove it so even if you want to take that as your "win" you are incorrect on all your claims of previous owners work, in which I took over from Dr. Tom during the playoffs of the 2020 season.

I was able to parlay all those guys by trading Pat Ulrich, Pablo Garcia and Danny Martin. The only one of these 3 that had continued success was Pablo Garcia. Lawrence Franks was traded during the 2021 season.

This team was supposed to win. No other reason to explain how they won all these series except for the Windstorm series.
New England (92-70) had home field advantage and the Beef won 3-2 in Wildcard series.
New York (99-63) had home field advantage and the Beef won 4-3 in Divisional series.
Omaha had home field advantage and beat Chicago 4-1 in League Championship series.
Cincy (104-58) had home field advantage and the Beef won 4-3 in World Series.

Nick acts like he such a great owner but hasn't won a championship in almost 30 digital years (13 less than the Beef).

Hell, I say my team is bad and that I haven't been a good enough owner. So you are just trying to triple stamp my double stamp.

This isn't a one year thing. I've always said my team is not good, which they haven't been. This year has been an oddity, they played lights out the first 2 months and have gone to pretty much what I was expecting for the season.
Beef Prediction:
Omaha goes 87-75 and loses playoff for last wild card spot.

Either demands are ridiculously low again or the Cuevas rule has been the worst thing to happen to the league in 20 or so seasons... Virtually every top young player is signed to below market deals and will never hit free agency. Hard to see how this one has turned out well for the whole of the league

I think the rule I presented passed where the player had to be 25 or 26 before signing a long term deal worked better than the current one.

So ppl with ifas get fucked and ppl with draftees have no problem resigning. Seems fair.

*cough* 5 Year Max *cough* - 10 yrs is insane and no 24/25 in real life would ever sign something like that.

didn't Acuna just sign a pretty team friendly deal?

this is a fantastic league, sure it has flaws, but draft pick trading killed things back in the day and we still feel the ripple effects of this
