That's the most realistic yet sad expectation I've seen

It's wise like bleeding out, every time they were on defense. The team is likely going to get toasted on some of these crazy blitz schemes this year, but it's way more exciting to see them attacking. It also helps that there are a few significant talent upgrades.

The offense is taking some similar steps as well. A lot less I form rushes and short routes. Hue is starting to open up the playbook like he did in Cincinnati. The offense has a long way to go though. Corey Coleman is the only playmaking WR. I'm not a fan of Britt or the other WRs. The TEs have huge upside, but right now they are too raw.

I'm hoping that they give Kizer the keys and let him work it out. I think he's mentally ready for the challenge and I don't see a scenario like other young QBs that have been murdered and basically ruined because the OL struggled. He seems like he's learning from his mistakes during the game, which is great.

Successful season:
6 wins, a few close losses, no major injuries, Kizer gets a lot of playing time and develops and defense finishes top 20.

Great season:
7 wins, 1 of the 2 TEs really emerge into a higher level player, and the defense gets close to top 10.

Shut it Jerk!

I would be thrilled with Reign's prediction. At least it would be a few steps in the right direction!

He was a weird dude, man. Didn't really hang out with many of the guys on the team. Even they thought he was kinda weird. Nice guy, just really weird.

Owen Marecic had that same look on his face during the whole pregame when I was up there. It's like he was staring into space.

No, he WAS space. That dude was just out there. Dez was just a weird person. Owen legit concerned a few of us that he might be a fire starter

The Lions just signed Stafford to a 5 year/$135mil extension.

The same Matt Stafford that has led Detroit to a 5-46 record against teams with a winning record.

Good luck Detroit!!!

Deadspin had an article how the Buffalo signed some guy named Keith Wenning to maybe start for them as their top 2 QBs have concussions. The top comment was gold:
I mean what do you want them to do Samer? It’s not like 29 year old QBs with Super Bowl experience are just sitting around unsigned in late August. These are the simply the options available that ownership feels comfortable with.

What are your guys thoughts on guys kneeling during the anthem?
I want to get some other people's perspectives.

Personally, I feel like it is disrespectful to those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedoms, but I am also not afraid to admit that I am not sure if I 100% understand why the players are doing it.

The actual kneeling, I just don't care. I really don't.

I think what they're protesting has merit, but guys like Kaep go about it entirely the wrong way(think pig socks or admitting he doesn't vote or supporting Mike Brown despite the mountain of evidence/facts we know about that case) so no one gives a shit, and their voices fall on deaf ears.

Kaep has done some really good things as well, I don't want that to go unsaid. But my point still stands.

Fairly indifferent on the actual kneeling. I find it more disrespectful when the people around me keep talking or screwing off with their phone.

we should be indifferent about anything someone else does unless it is illegal. our need to flash our morale muscles around is so hypocritical and so egotistical that it ruins the ability for people to be open and free with thought. its also a product of our access to information and our inability to handle that as a society.

if someone wants to be a hateful prick, i don't have to agree with it, but we should let them be. if they break laws, then lets prosecute them based on what they've done.

trying to police intent/opinions/beliefs is a slippery slope and leads us down a spiral of judgement that will never stop.

if you care so much about the thing you're on your high horse about, then spend some time/money trying to fix or educate the problem. most issues we have come from uneducated, misinformed, miserable people. arguing with them is going to add fuel to their hate and pump our inner need for morale superiority, not help the situation.

I'd take it a step further and say we should be indifferent to what someone else does as long as it does not have any adverse effects on others.

yeah thats probably better worded and what i meant.

cause i don't give a fuck if someone wants to ruin their life on drugs, as long as its not impacting my family.

Kaeps disrespect, but those same US soldiers who fought for freedom, fought Nazis, who are now protesting in Virginia. or were. So the very people the US tried to stop from uprising, are uprising on their own soil, to the tune of "free speech" (which if u read the law, its hate speech which isnt a freedom of speech).

but kneeling is disrespect to those who fought.
