Neither did i. I started out with a 30,000 stadium. Smaller than yours. But I managed my money properly and invested my resources. You could have done the same thing.
I hope you find fairness in the importants stuff. I still chose to believe that you are actually a very cool guy that deserves success in life and just comes off like sour grapes on this board.
no sour grapes at all. Just towards you.
Its easy to sniff out fake people

There are some really, really good hitters in the FA pool asking for less than $10mil.
Too bad I'm a trainwreck of a GM when it comes to my financials.

Very shocked Sanders is there. Hes only 32, has actually increased in ratings per my scout, and was only asking me for $8mil a year on a 2 year deal with an option.

lol, how has no one made a run at Wu? i'd think a 1 year deal would be MORE than worth it

Sanders, Rocha. I think there was another even better guy who had a career 146 OPS+ vs righties asking for $9mil, maybe it was one of those 2. Just some really good hitters at graet value out there now.

What's he asking for now?
I'm guessing a huge contract.

Possibly.
Guys can run their teams how they see fit, but if he's the piece you need and a probably late 1st round pick is holding you back, then I'm not sure that's the best management style.

I offered all those guys on my mlb/ootp comparison list last night.
Wu was asking 2 years, 6mil per.

Big decline in power and slight falls in other categories.
Guy is still going to hit .300 or so and needs to only play DH.

they actually have dropped quite a bit if I remember right, but I'd take a $6 mill chance on a one year deal if I had room at DH, and any $$

I offered to Sanders and Franks. Now that I got Franks I have no need for sanders as I now have my DH. Welcome home Frank's, Wayne Washington is trying to take over all of your club records.

I'd love to see a team string thread. What their name used to be and what it is now type thing

i would have resigned Rocha but he was asking for something absurd, like 17mil over 7 years from me when I tried to resign him. I will say though I haven't looked at him this offseason. I seem to be in some sort of battle for Sanders with Omaha (offered the last 2 sims and always says hes offering more yet the price isn't increasing?) Rocha had a pretty heavy ratings devaluation after an injury 2 years ago but his ratings appeared to only go down against lefties (from what I saw) He absolutely destroys righties and had a career year last year against them.

So sign him. All you guys talking about there are GREAT this and that left. I sure dont see any of you signing them ? How come if they are so GREAT ?
Maybe no one needs a DH making 12+ mill a season. And lose a draft pick along with it.
