10 rated above 61 by my scout, then another 10 50-59. Wild differences.

once we start the draft and he makes a pick we can't hold him responsible for that anymore, imo.

its one of the small issues with starting draft early.

He's trying to sign a comp player, meaning he loses his 1st round draft pick. But he's up in the draft soon, so he doesn't know if he'll get the pick or not.

The player isn't answering him it sounds like so I'd withdraw the offer and keep the pick.

Just my advice but I don't know the player, the team that would get the pick or any other details.

We will have to either pause the draft or put a pause in anyone getting signed then as there are picks on the board.

I vote for pausing signing versus starting the draft over.

If the team signing a comp FA has a top 10 pick, don't they lose the 2nd round pick?


And on that note, what's the official ruling on when exactly can we sign comp eligible free agents and not lose any picks? I know it's usually after the in-game draft, but we kinda need to know as a league so we're all on the same page.
