You don't get the person's pick, but they still lose the first round pick.

i think its, top half of draft is 1st round protected but you lose your 2nd, and 2nd half of the 1st round loses their 1st. and the compensation is still sandwich either way.

Agreed. Ive touched on it the last couple nights as there always seems to be a plethora of good hitters. But to see 3 solid, 2-4 type pitchers still sitting in free agency in this league is crazy. Yes they are older but I messed around and none of them were asking more than 6-7 million for a small 2 year,with a team option type deal.

May actually be a good sign that our pitching is getting deeper in the league as it was so thin previously.

Neither did i. I started out with a 30,000 stadium. Smaller than yours. But I managed my money properly and invested my resources. You could have done the same thing.

I hope you find fairness in the importants stuff. I still chose to believe that you are actually a very cool guy that deserves success in life and just comes off like sour grapes on this board.

It's looking more and more like my first rounder from two seasons ago, C Ken Hayes is going to be ready to be a full time major leaguer. I don't really want to bring him up this season but he's had a nice spring so far and catcher is a huge position of need for me.
