They matter. I dont think pitchers have a ton of control over them.
Feisty, you say the most outlandish shit sometimes.
Win in pitching...mean NOTHING. If you tell me that to my face you lose yours.
seriously? Am i going to 'lose my face' now ?

Pitchers can't control what their offense does. Look at Felix Hernandez...by far the best pitcher in the AL.
He did what he was suppose to do and yet he wasnt even close in wins and losses to a david price or cc sabathia. So yes...if you look at wins as being a main stat with pitchers then you dont know baseball.

I would like to point out that Riccio was recently using SABR stats for football.
As soon as I try to use them, they are unreliable.

i've said a million times i think there are too many variables in football to use SABR as definitive answer
in baseball you don't even need to watch players play to determine value and basketball isn't as clear cut as baseball but is much more useful then football

LOL at the NFL:

Between this and the supposed suspensions and the fines being given for the hits, the NFL is looking pretty dumb lately. Really dumb. For real.

Jesus, this saints game is looking exactly like the cards game with all the fluke type plays. After enough flukes, I guess it becomes legit, lol.
Browns up 10-0 in the 2nd with no offense to speak of. Long punt return on a lateral and then a long PI call. Saints on the other hand, had a TD pass called back and immediately threw an INT in the redzone after that.
UGLY!!!

What site have you been watching the games on lately?
I havent watched much online this year but want to catch Broncos-Raiders today.

Falcons just got screwed.
Benson fumbled after catching, taking two steps, was tucking and got hit. Ball came out, Falcons got a 21 yd scoop and score.
Then they overturned it and said it was never caught. Should be 17-3 Atlanta right now. And that's with me having Benson, so a fumble would've hurt me.

Usually better picture quality than ChannelSurfing for my Saints games.
