Who is to say it was not said to him during the game? Regardless he went off the deep end and is gonna cost himself a ton of games. You can not hit someone like that, just stupidity...but man what a jab.

That was thrown with Bad Intentions,To throw that type of punch flat footed and to drop a guys is in impressive. I still say that was a bullshit thing to do no matter what the reason was, but the punch was impressive.

If he is suspended for a long while, does that mean ICE can't use him?

Hell, ICE has probably already suspended him.

maybe for a female (being able to throw sucker punches makes you tough?), if he would have been 6inches closer it might have been really bad so it would be safe to call it a pussy punch.

I doubt if he is gone for a long time....I mean think the whole damn Miami FIU (I think that's right) did it and I see it in alot of games and normally they get like 3 games

On other time he was in trouble he actually wasn't in nothing big His girlfriend went missing and he was missing time from offseason workouts while here back at home when his position coach told him it was okay
goes back to oregon and everything is ok

But I think that was billroy who was saying he thinks it's still BS

Well you gotta understand what we go thru here
Black people such as me get served out of back doors at bars you can literally get spit on by a white male and nothing happens and if you tell the police you might go to jail because they will say you provoked him.I went and paid cash for my truck and they thought i sold drugs.Or I get pulled and checked because they think i stole my own truck or breaking into my own home because i am a black man living pretty good. Then when a Black guy and a White girl start to date or even mess around there are huge fights
but since the New Gen is starting to come in things are getting better but it's still there....and things such as KKK are still pretty strong down here in steinhatchee.
I for one am trying to make a differance in young men lives and try and help them best I can before they are on there own.Working with Juveniles for quite awhile that's all I seen was black guys or mex or white guys raised by there fathers or grandparents who raised them. All of which have the same mind set that who cares and it's so many things against them to succeed why try.

Hell I went thru years or training working the midnight shift 11pm-7apm then going to school from 8am-6pm monday thru friday just so I could be a police here and balance things out
So i get finished and the chief told me I had the spot soon as I started school well soon as we finished he hired some white guy from Lack City who failed the piss test and paid for him to move here despite having no EXP...and his reason for not hiring me was an interview question he asked if not hired by them what would i do and I replied try and start coaching while he was looking for Apply else where
City board members where pissed and I was later hired
well about 4 months in I was written up for pulling over one of his relatives who was doing 65 in a 20 mile school zone and the ticket was dropped
Of course he was later forced to resign and they keep asking me to comeback

but with a Black man where i come from there are several things you just don't do

1st never ever ever ever talk about or touch my MOM

Never say the N word to me unless you are black or look like you are black from white people it means poor trash servent from another black person it means Dog-friend-brother

never step on my shoes

never date my sister without permission

if in a fight you must match age or you might get jumped
so if an 9th grader fights a 7th grader he will then go get his 10th or 11th grade cousin to kick your tail

church is very powerful

older people get respect no matter what

your parents can and will curse you and hit you and you better not say anything or hit them back or you going back where you came from

most of us have no dad and never seen him

anyway tired of talking about that

As for the Fans he had allready lost it at that point...you know how it gets you just knocked someone the F out and now you really have lost control of yourself you feel like you wanna beat everybody ass

I just dont get this. Its okay to say the N word if your black or even "look" black but not ok if your white.

damn daw that's some powerful stuff

here is the differance

To black guys pass by each other one says "what up nigga"

just the other day...working in a store and older white guy responds "don't put that shit on my shelf nigga"

Re: Oregon @ Boise St

by Daw1git
so it's more the reason and they way it is said that's more important

or go workiong at the beach over the summer and white guys sitting in the store talking about Oboma and one just keeps saying I hate them fucking black ass niggas and looking at me to see how I respond

if I say something I am allmost 100% sure he will say he never did anything and I would go to jail....and of course the police will say well why would he say a thing like that.

You don't have to tell me. I may be white, but I where I live I am the minority. And everyone is cool with each other; although, we all dislike the Italians.

Like I said in my other post, he exhibited every trait of a straight up g. I was literally laughing when I saw the bounce. That shit is old school! :)

Anyway, it is sometimes a war for black men. I know. You know how much I hate the cops even though I never have been a victim of their stupidity. I always joke that I could be running around a store with a chainsaw and the cops will run in and beat and arrest the first brothers they find. Being white is definitely better than being black in some areas and you know how I mean that.

That said, guys like Blount should know by now that they have a special talent that will get them out of the shit and above every one of their former peers, white and black. Yet, it is always the same shit with crime and a black athlete; always a gun or a fight. I understand it on the street level - even if I live in a sort of demilitarized zone of Yonkers - but I do not get it when they rise above that and the shit still happens. Nealon Greene was a buddy of mine growing up - quarterback at Clemson and the CFL - and he came from the warzone of Yonkers. I won't go near that place. And he was the toughest SOB in the area; the only reason he liked me was because I could hang with him while we were playing. However, he came out all right. Why? Even he knew playtime was over.

And the word nigga and color are not mutually exclusive. Either that, or I am a black man. :)

Let's not get it twisted as to what I think is bullshit and why I made the statement regarding "throwing up the bullshit flag"-

I think the fact that race was brought up in this matter was and is bullshit....Daw, your statement, and I will quote it was:

"the guy he punches calls his a Pussy N because he didn't shake his hand after the game"

I find this virtually impossible to believe considering we have heard absolutely nothing in the media, from Blount himself, from Chris Petersen, from anyone. Considering what Blount, and the University of Oregon has at stake should he be suspended for any length of time; if a racial or ethnic slur was the statement that precipitated Blount's outburst; it would be reported by many media outlets on more than one occasion. Hell, Blount would have said something during his apology regarding it. Instead, nothing has been brough up regarding it- except by you. And that is where my doubt originates.

As far as the stuggles you spoke of and the list of "dont's" that you gave; while I appreciate everything that you have said, I certainly do not lack the education of how to socialize/live with black folk, or anyone who is culturally or ethnically different than me thanks to where I grew up (see my response to Nick in this thread), my upbringing, my associates/friends, my experience & my intelligence.

Keep in mind that there are a vast number of people who have gone through and continue to go through those types of adversities. And for those who have to face that kind of shit based on their skin tone, their language, their religion; it fucking sickens me.

As for me and my family and the people I associate with- we will continue to treat everyone as thier behavior & courtesy warrants and for no other reason. That is how we will get over the constant and unnecessary use of race as an excuse to act the way our parents would not want us to.

With the not being heard from blount in the apology

well like I told him:
excuses are like assholes everybody got 1 and you have a talent and gift that very few have and you are fing up just like WE allways do. Did his words fly from his mouth and grabbed you fist and pushed it to his face. Then who made your hand punch him?

but here is how I am thinking
peterson didn't wanna reflect on it in the media because wouldn't that make his program look bad as well?
Blount didn't go on about it because to me that would make him childish. What he is doing now is a sign of growing up and taking responsibilty.

I very seriously doubt he dropped the N-word. He would've made a bigger deal about it.

His apology is a joke. "I'll never blow up like that again"....right. Because Artest-like outbursts are just "heat of the moment", one-time deals and have nothing to do with major anger issues.

Suspend his ass for the whole year. There's no place for crap like that in college athletics.

Total bullshit to use the "racial" cop out.

He didnt say shit about race and if he did, Blount would have instantly said something about that to defend himself.

Kid is an idiot. An uneducated, stupid decision making, dumb ass idiot. His apology was hollow and only covering himself with his apology. One of the worst apologies in the media I have ever seen.

Supposedly whats being released from Boise and Oregon is that the Boise kid said something along the lines of "now you owe us 2 ass whoopings" and patted him on the shoulder.

Boise kid is in the wrong as well, but nowhere near as much as Blount. Restrain yourself dumb ass. Think you can just punch every single person that is talking shit??

Im just glad it wasnt Miami...yet.

And Oregon agreed with me--his ass is suspended for the entire season.

Good riddance. Take the time to get some mental help....and to come up with better lame-ass excuses beyond playing the race card.
