Fuck, good point.Hart4Heisman wrote:with this.. i'd think they will make running easier.. riding DEs out of plays is a huge part of the running game too so im assuming it will work too.
I was thinking this makes the passing pockets more realistic, but what about the running game? If the tackles let the ends fly up field like that sometimes, it will help the running game.

Re: ncaa 2010 info
We have heard about improved/realistic Oline play every single version.
This year they were built like brick walls and Dlines had no chance in the pass rush game but come off blocks like nothing in the run game.
With anything VTs piece of shit company says, I also say Ill believe it when I see it.

Re: ncaa 2010 info
maybe EA should have people who actually know something about college football work on the game. Crazy I know.
quit adding shit like "ice the kicker" and "mascot battles". Instead FIX online play, camera angles, FG kicking, retarded lower ranked teams, late pitch, touch passing online......i mean the list goes on and on.
This version is VASTLY improved from whatever that was they put out last year, and its almost where it needs to be, but not quite

I dont know where it is, but there is a good quote from one of the developers.ajalves wrote:quit adding shit like "ice the kicker" and "mascot battles".
The mascot games took literally a half of a day to incorporate, that is it.
PLUS, they got a sponsor in Coke Zero for the mascot games, which means more money to work on other areas.
So, while they may be the dumbest thing ever, it is actually beneficial for them to be there.

That seems to be working out well.shel311 wrote:which means more money to work on other areas.

Re: ncaa 2010 info
i hear you, but thats a half day they could have spent putting good camera angles back in there.
these developers will never "get it"....i've said it a half million times...80% of future gaming is online.....they need to deal with it

That may be true but NCAA is certainly a game that bucks that trend. Look at how many copies are sold and then compare that to how many people you see online. The percentage is extremely low and that encourages EA to continue to work on the offline stuff. Madden is the "online" game.

Re: ncaa 2010 info
That is very true...sports are and mostly will be console games that get played online if you don't have your buddies around. Shooter games are main-stays online..there were over 100,000 people online COD:WAW the other night. I don't think there is that many over several month's time online NCAA.
Online dynasties seem to have gone over pretty well so hopefully they spent most of there time there.

at the same time the people you are referring to are buy the game regardless. Why wouldnt they want to expand their customer base?

Re: ncaa 2010 info
Don’t get me wrong, I agree with what you said. However, it just doesn’t seem that NCAA online is a huge priority. Truthfully, if it wasn’t for the NDL would you be playing NCAA online? The game is garbage when played by the East room crowd.
