It's pretty amazing that you actually don't know the answer to this question, despite everyone else discussing it for half the day now in this thread.

i outhit Boston 46-39 and had one of the worst offenses in the AL. I went 2-4 and they won, but thats the breaks. 1 3 run HR was the diff in one game. if I win Game 6 and have Quick in 7 we could be talking about a Wash or Richmond title.
blame yourselves for being not so good GMs.

there isnt a discussion. Ive read it. its stupid. People want a free player cause theyre not immersed. Immersion is apparently based on thread pages which is dictated by goofs like me and you talking shit. its always has and always will be. Half the league is quiet at all times in all years. Exports are fine. Just a bunch of crybabies

It would be interesting to see just how successful you could be, in general, if you could just make concise points in your arguments instead of coming in and being so brazen.

I don't think anyone(except for Nick?) would really argue that league immersion is down. Not sure why anyone would, it's obviously down.
Now you can say it's down but not far enough to down to warrant any big changes, that's fair. But it's 100% without question down.

define immersion. what are some examples of immersion based situations in the NDLB? Id love to hear how you guys quantify immersion.

Board posts are down
Trades are down
We probably have more guys not active on the boards right now than we've ever had
Even off the boards, guys aren't chatting with each other about the league nearly as much as in the past.

The NOs have stormed back taking 6 of the last 7 votes for a 7-5 lead!!!

these are all subjective. Do we have a running number of trades/season? I did a quick look and saw a page+ for this yr and about 2 pages for the yr before. so 25 to 40-50. Do we have to have a million trades a yr? How many people did firesales?> When I blow up my team I do 10-12 trades, if I dont then i dont do 10-12 trades and more like 3. Other teams same thing. Everything is relative
Board posts are dictated usually by me/shel arguing and people telling us to shut up.
We had people (kdog, shel, among others) in the playoff chat not in the playoffs. immersions down so much people wanted to watch games they werent in.
The offline chatting.. iunno i barely talk to people about NDLB other than like Trendon trying to convince him to be my CoGM.

I feel like at least 3 of the 4 are quantifiable, but I won't be putting in the work to quantify it lol.

And #4, my least quantifiable one, was just confirmed by you.

I'm guessing in the past, you've discussed OOTP with others. Hell, we have in the past, so I know that's at least 1 guy.
But now, no one. Hence, my point about offline chatter. I know for sure it's happened to me. I'm down to 2 regulars and 1 occasional from probably near double digits in the past that I'd talk to, say, at least once per week on OOTP happenings.

So one guy is not mature enough to just have a discussion without saying everyone who does not universally agree is a little bitch, good talks.
I am trying to think of a way to say I am proud to be one of Shel's regulars without opening up a Pandora's box of jokes
