I don't believe it is the same. The one voted on last year is a cap to the limit. This one would be to set all owners the same so everyone has the same reasonable expectations on money received/taken.

Also it's great to see the league come together for a common cause. With Nicholson's pending retirement we are just ONE player away from successfully purging all Canadians from the league!
