I assume you can sub out "CFB" and sub in "NFL" for NFL streams? I got addicted to Redzone last season when it was free, but I certainly won't be paying for it this season, looking for alternatives.
Yes.

I use the XBOX1 for RedZone and its fantastic.
Is it just free? How's that work?

I went ahead and edited Peay's OP and added that pic Nick took...mostly for myself so I can remember where to find it.

i don't have roku or apple tv or any of that other than ps4.

is there a way for me to watch UConn on tv tonight without that? i usually just watch on my laptop... i could do the screen share too i guess from my phone i think also.

i'm obviously clueless with this stuff, anyone know the best way for me to do it?

Run out and pay $30 for a Chromecast...then download the WatchESPN app on your phone and cast it to the chromecast hooked to your tv.
I'd assume all Smart TVs have WatchESPN, right?

Definitely not. Netflix, Pandora and YouTube seem to be pretty common. I'd put WatchESPN on that next tier that is <50%.
It is not on my Vizio, so I use a Chromecast.

pretty sure he meant he justloads up the link thru his XBox1 and watches that way.

Ifs simple, every game will have its own thread, and people will post links inside. They warn about blocking bots n shit but from my experience i usually get great streams.

If you wanna get HD superb, get "AceStream" cause they are the best. problem is AceStream will take a toll on your internet so dont expect to be able to look at other sites while it plays cause its slow as shit.

Ah gotcha.

I sometimes use the web browswer on my TV to get streams. It's usually pretty easy but can give me trouble here and there sometimes.

I assume i'll do a lot of streaming on the laptop and utilizing the AirPlay to the TV this football season for the first time.

I didn't know Showtime was doing this still. It's almost like a Hard Knocks college style. The ND one was a snooze fest but being at FSU this year with a nice bit of drama already may improve ratings.
BREAKING SOON on @TDOnline: "Showtime" staffers drank whiskey with #FSU strength coach in his office the night of his DUI.

I switched to DISH from DirecTV 2 weeks ago... I think I like it. $85 (after tax, fees and equipment) and I can record up to 16 shows, it has Netflix built into it and I have DISH Anywhere that I can watch live TV or my recorded TV from any computer or wifi device. Maybe not the cheapest route, but it's darn nice.

I couldn't stand Dish.
And DirecTV, you can use the app and watch tv anywhere as well, just fyi.

Can't believe people still pay for dish and cable let alone how much they pay.

Coming from someone that doesn't watch tv though outside of sports and GOT.

Carry on. :)

The time saved for sports alone is worth it for me.

And the ease of use.

I will say, since I cut the cord 6 or 7 years ago, Ive found that I watch dramatically less sports. Ill watch all MSU football, some MSU bball, some NFL, and golf on a weekend if its on. Thats it, I used to watch everything I could. I still follow sports just about as much, but rarely have the desire to sit and watch the actual games anymore

The guy buying $40k-$70k cars every 2 years can't believe people are spending $1k per year on satellite tv.

I'm watching App. State and Tennessee like it is Bama-LSU

I only love my kids and wife more than college football. And it's pretty close on the wife. :)
