In my eyes, you're still attempting to run up the score though.
i just have a comment. take it for what it's worth. you went 11-2 with South Carolina last season, yet got fired. u most likely got ur season goals at 11-2 and im sure you did your recaps/stats so you were essentially fired because of a poor coach report.
at this point, why didnt you change things up?
Im not saying anything about your gameplay but the first time around sure it's cause u dont know, but if u get it again, maybe you should be looking at how you play the game and not little situations. just saying.
I was on probation and i went from a 80 to a 94 in reports. I completely changed my offense and i had more fun.
Im not sayin anything about u, i'm simply trying to piece together this.

I kinda think someone told you that was the case walker but it would not make any logical sense to base everything on one play. I think I will do something I didn't like due to concentration, but using a headset is what I plan to do this season. And yes, I talk to my virtual players like I was there real coach!

Good post Ajalves......as in my opinion, we have some sore losers. Losing and winning breed some malcontent mofos in this league. I lose, I get over a 100 points, win....still around 99 or 98 points........some opponents will never be happy no matter what you do if they lose. I read all of your posts, and you cannot tell me that a person who loses gets heated during and after the game. Most coaches reports are filled out once the game is completed.......and others fill it out a couple of days later.
Take for example, Ohio State defense is going to make some plays and interceptions because it is a great defensive team. I am up by 28 points, as I am running the ball outside, inside and every which way with the fullback. That is eating up the clock...........but wait, you get dinged for taking time off the clock.........you punt, then your opponent throws an interception, you return it for a little bit then dive......knowing you can score. You kneel if four times in a row..........then turn the ball over again..........bam, the same thing happens. WTF can you blame the team that intercepts the ball? Your eating clock.........you cannot please the sore losers or winners when your losing or winning.

It shouldn't get to the point where you have to kneel 4 times in a row to stop from going up to or over 35 points. Now that right there is unrealistic

In the eye of the beholder.......I punt , whoopee, kneel it from the twenty yard line.......what is the difference? Main point is........I am not running up the score to even go up to 35 points, as you can see, everyone differs on coaching. Actually, it is strategy to give them the ball inside their twenty.........up 28 nothing, most people would kick the field goal. I on the other hand differ when it comes to respecting the other team. Instead of kicking the field goal or punting, use stragety and kneel the ball. I guess I get dinged......who cares.

the fact that its really gay to kneel 4 times in a row? at least when u run u give the defense that small bit of hope that maybe a fumble will happen.

I could really give two shits what people say about kneeling the ball. I am doing it, not getting dinged for it, but I am doing it if I am up. Who gives a fuck if I am giving the ball back to the owner, I am not running up the score. Take your gay ass comment and shove it! Oh, let me spell it out for you guys.........situation, it is within 3:00 minutes in the 4th quarter......go ahead and score, as I have been dinged for scoring before to 35 points three times before, as the opposing coach said that I did not have to score. Explain that one??

I had a game where I was winning handily and I had the second teamers in including using my heavy set that had the FB at running back. My opponent clearly was trying to score because despite his 5 or so INT's he kept chunking the ball on 15+ yard routes evertime he had the ball. I picked him off again with about 2 minutes to go and dove down instead of running in for an easy score up by like 24 pts. On the ensuing possession I ran the clock all the way down and ran counters and draws with my backup FB out of heavy backfield. On fourth and 8 or so from his 30 I ran a toss sweep with the FB and got dropped for a big loss running right into the multiple defenders in my backfield. He paused the game and IM'd me just livid as hell about me trying to get the first in that situation when I thought it was super apparent I was just running clock and conceding my offense. I explained this to him and I don't think he gave a rats ass. In hindsight I would have punted the ball through the uprights and saved myself from the whole thing. People get pissed (for whatever reason) and their perception is different even though it might be skewed in your opinion.

There are so many ways to avoid having to kneel (none of them being punting inside their 20) that it's a joke you do it and get so worked up about it
