In my opinion, that is a big thing that you should have disclosed to everyone before you put so much work into it.

What is the point of the trade committee and even doing trades?
It is the best team each year wins...so to speak.

Who the hell cares what goes on if it gets reset after each season?

My point is, I could care less about the age of players now when evaluating trades.
If it is close overall, it is getting my vote.
Doesn't make sense to put in all the work just to have it get reset in 40 games.

I joined thinking it was a Franchise. So it is just a little blah to hear otherwise.

And damn do they need to fix their shit.
I clicked on my franchises, took like a minute for the screen to load, wtf!

And no one answered my question before...the size of my screen seems messed up.
I can see logos and such at the bottom, but they are off the screen.
Does anyone know if there is a setting to adjust this?

I cannot find one.

The new guys on the block did terrific in the Dodgers' 4-0 shutout win over the Phillies, their second straight shutout.

Cliff Lee was dominant, scattering 4 hits and 1 walk over 7 innings, while fanning 7 hitters. Aside from a first-inning single by Jimmy Rollins, he dominated the 1-6 hitters, as they went a combined 1-for-14 against him. Martin Prado went 2-for-3 in the game, pushing his average to an absurd .565 on the season. And Ben Revere came in, as he went 0-for-1 but his speed forced a bad throw that went into the stands and allowed the runner from 2nd to score to make it 4-0 and cement the win.

If it was a franchise to go more then 1 season, then all the other stuff wouldn't need to even be there. All that stuff was made PRIOR to me even knowing that they took the season feature out of online play, And it was announced this way when all was setup. You made 1 that is setup how ever you want it, Just roll in this one or not, Your choice. The 2nd 1 I am running, Is prolly more up your alley which ever why we choose to go from the below menu. I will make another poll to vote on this. I just want the bugs/glitches patched and to play.

I have also stated, We can do 1 of 2 things.

1. Take the fantasy draft 1 and make it just a regular franchise and play it out, longer seasons, less users, and more involvement, less BS trades.

2. wait for them to fix the draft aspect and still go forward with the fantasy draft and then carry it out as a franchise.

I am really for either way. Y

Ryan, I understand, was just curious.

I am still all for the fantasy franchise, if/when they fix shit.
I do not follow baseball enough to know all of the players, so that is why I am interested in the fantasy one.
But I joined your main one because the fantasy one cannot be done right now.

Do you know if the show nation will let you vote on trades?
I find it more useful as it lets me jump to other teams easily to see their schedules to reset games and such.

You can vote on trades, I just did it in the old league. But I'm not sure how the system works, because when I voted, it processed my vote as an action and either declined or approved the trade.

In our current 10 team one?
How did you find the trades to try to vote on?

I found the trades, so will it show under the approved trades and then you vote on them from there?

Acquisitions -> Transactions -> Trades Accepted

There are 3 tabs in the transactions section. Trades proposed, trades accepted and trades completed.

That's because he gave you, me, and Daniel the power to approve/decline trades for the CPU. Thus, we have power to do the same for human trades.

Correct Jason. I don't think Reign was asking why.
He was telling me where to find it.

I am curious how it will work if we can access the trades to vote on them on the website.
I am hoping we can so we can vote on them throughout the day while at work.

Ms won their first game of the season 8-4 vs the As. Chris Young went 7 strong and got the win. Seager led off the 8th with a dinger and threw his bat at the pitcher.

Side note, I don't know about this. It took damn near an hour to play the CPU. I don't have an hour for every game on the schedule. Worried about the time commitment

Kemp and Puig hit back-to-back bombs to help lead the Dodgers to a 4-2 win over the Phillies. Ryu was dominant, going 7 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run while fanning 9. This followed an 8-4 win where Kershaw went a complete game, giving up 4 runs and striking out 12 batters.

Dodgers now sit at 6-2 thanks in large part to the terrific start to the season from Puig. He has an OPS of around 1.4 and has been a monster at the plate.

I would recommend EVERYONE goes into their team settings, under the Management tab of any franchise you are in and be sure your Team Settings, at least for Trades is set to Manual.

To avoid the CPU accepting or Denying trades for you.
Just FYI.

I believe the default setting is AUTO.

I know you mentioned earlier not to play Arizona but is that solved as I have two remaining games with them on my schedule?

I have 8 games left to go against them, and it looks like Beast and I will be fighting for the division title. Those games will be important.

Looks like the issue has resolved itself - begs the question if it was ever broken to begin with. I think it's just a general rotation issue as people play games out of order. Played the D-Backs again with McCarthy starting game 1 then Bronson Arroyo starting the 2nd game

Well I guess play them then. Maybe the trade they made helped. But you said you played them 3x in a row and faced him all 3 times.

So to me that was a issue.
