for the record, if you sent a list the draft will speed up 10 fold

Up to the point we're at now, there clearly aren't.

If there is a time limit why can't people use their time? My pick changed based on what others had picked. I didn't want to send a list in because of that fact that I would have been stuck with the pick based on the list. People have their own strategies. If everyone is pissed about guys not sending in lists, why even do the draft this way? Just have the whole thing done automatically with the damn list in the game...

Coug, I think his point is, if you know you will not be around, send in a list. It is that simple.

If you are around, it shouldn't take you more than a half hour to cross off/delete the guys that were picked and then make your decision.
No reason that it should take you 3 hours to make a selection.

so you lock in on one player? the thought that that guy might be taken never enters your mind?

a list deals with changes as well.

I sent Reign a list, but he's working from home, so I'm sure he's busy working on his heading. I mean, headers. Like spreadsheet headers.

my list was in and there wasn't a pick made for me. so I have no idea how long I was up but if nobody is there to see the list its gonna take a while also

Yeah, I sent my list in yesterday late afternoon...when i woke up this morning I was on the clock, no pick was made. Which I'm glad, I got to pick someone else I wouldn't have with my list.

The main issue, for me at least, in the past was waiting 3 hours for a guy then going BPA when his time was up.

That's the issue that was just a wasted 3 hours. If you know you can't be around at all, send in a list or tell Reign to auto pick for you right away, save everyone else the wasted 3 hours.

I get that too, but if we have a 3 hour limit, then let guys use the 3 hours. If we want 30 minutes, then it should be 30 minutes.

Technically not in any specific order, well, some are I guess..but most are just on the list, and whoever I get is who I get, like I said, guys that I can live with. When its my pick and I have time to look, then I'll look more in depth and pick and choose the best guy I think is available.

To me, lists are hard to make because you have no idea who is going to be drafted before its my pick. If I wanted to take the time to make a "good" list in order of guys I'd take, when I know half or more will be gone before its my pick anyway, I would...I dont know, I just hate making lists...I just try and be around when it's my pick, much easier.

That the thing that diff this year, NO AUTO picking. Which is better. Now have the guys can t just say BPA cause they either didnt wanna look or didnt have time to. Either they do it now or get skipped. Good idea.

I just think you're missing the point.

When you have a 3 hour limit, and one specific guy takes up the entire 3 hours WITHOUT picking and does so every round, you don't think that is lame?

That guy should just let Reign know he won't be drafting and be done with it.

Welcome to Florida during the summer ish time...though the every day rain crap usually stops around this time.

And I say next year's draft we put a much tighter time limit on it or just do it through the game.

No, thank god! I'd be pissed if we were here to golf. Just down in Bradenton with another couple for the week. Not much going on when its raining out. Did make it to the beach on Sunday. Other than that, not much. We did go to the casino in Tampa on Monday, probably going back today...looks like rain all day again.
