The first ballot guys are in now if voted on today.
The fringe guys need a little more seasoning if they average their current stats for 2-4 years more depending on the guy.

Cruz's current HOF Standard is 283.5 lol .. comparable to.. inbetween Tony Gwynn and Mickey Mantle, just above Albert Pujols.

He doesn't think Parker is HOF. He was using him as an example comparing him to Sandberg, Alomar, and Morgan to prove he is not.
Parker is probably best compared to HOF'er Billy Herman, although Herman played in 30's and 40's.
Herman 1922 games, .304/.367/.407, 47hr 869 rbi, 1163runs, 2345 hits, 486doubles
Parker 1740 games, .327/.396/.415, 44hr, 771rbi, 1051runs, 2286hits, 426doubles
Parker also blows away some second basemen IMO. Johnny Evers, Jackie Robinson (although Robinson obviously is a different case), Mazeroski, Doerr & Gordon had good power numbers for middle infielders, but their average sucked compared to Parker's.

Correct, Just what Bernie said. I just grabbed a few names from 2B. That most could atleast relate to. Parker is the closest to a HOF'er we might have atm, BUt I still wouldnt vote for him, Or any of them.
I like the names on Corey's list. There will be some HOF'ers off that for sure.

So basically Bernie puts all this work in, and all we are doing is voting to keep putting guys on the ballot? Thats a lot of work for nothing. If we are never going to vote any of these guys in, how bout we just stop voting and wait till our "Modern" players get there and then we can vote guys in, because at this rate we will never put anyone in till Cruz retires from the sound of it. Just seems like a lot of work for Bernie just to never put any players in.

I enjoy it. It's not a lot of work after the initial one was done. Everything is saved, just do the new guys and plug them in and touch up some things. And like I said in OP, I think we will get there. 22 of the 27 voters voted for somebody to get in.. it's just natural for the NDL to not agree on who. It will happen.

Well wait, his numbers are very close to Sandberg and Alomar based on that pic you provided. And that's just offensive, not sure if the defense would help or hurt his case.

oh I thought your point was that their numbers are identical.

Well i will add this
maybe this will help
Parker - 2 Gold Gloves, 5 AS games went to 3 straight 17-19
Alomar - 10 Gold Gloves, won it from 91 - 02, Only 2nd was in 97. 12 straight AS games
Morgan - 5 gold gloves 73-77, 10 AS gmz 66,70, 72-79
Sandberg - 9 gold gloves 83 -91, 10 AS gmz, 84-93
Deff i think parker isnt even close to these 3, And it shows, in AS gmz also.

We'll all star games are irrelevant Imo and you can't do gold gloves becausewwe've proved that our game is completelyflawed iin the way it picks those winners.
