The Hoosiers were down 3-0 in the first then put up 15 runs in the next 5 innings to win 15-6 over The Peay. The Peay next plays Valpo who knocked out Florida earlier today.

Hoosiers win their regional over the Peay. They go to FSU for the super regional.

Hoosiers sweep the Noles to advance to the CWS. They're the first Big Ten team to make it since 1984. They'll play the Vandy-Louisville winner.

The acc hasn't won a baseball championship since the 50's (or at least that's what I thought I heard today)
I was shocked to hear that

The ACC only has won one title (Wake Forest, 1955).

Just like football, the acc expected Miami to bring championships in this sport too.
Hasn't happened or anywhere close.

Great ending in the NC State-Rice game. It was the longest Super Regional game (17 innings) and the Wolfpack won, 5-4, to advance to the CWS.
Not many were there to watch. They cleared the stadium during the hour-plus rain delay and it was about half full when play resumed.

But didn't Miami win once while in the Big East? I think I remember FSU reaching the title game undefeated, but that season, once you got to the championship game it was one and done because CBS was broadcasting it and didn't want to show a possible 2nd game, so Miami won though they had lost once. But don't blame Miami at all for not winning titles, ACC was banking more on the Georgia Tech's, Clemson's, North Carolina and Florida State teams that have reached the CWS and never won. UNC had it locked up in 06, up 1-0 in the best of 3 and leading in the 8th inning until a fielding error by a pitching got Oregon State back into the game and the series.
