Adrian Wojnarowski reports that trade talks for a potential deal that would send Chris Paul to New Orleans are back on again after Heat Owner Corey Prokorov called off talks on Wednesday night.
Per Woj, the sticking point was Aaron Afflalo. Afflalo is shooting 54.9% from the field and 52.4% from 3pt. New Orleans didn't want to include him, but Miami wouldn't pull the trigger without Afflalo as part of the deal.
It is possible that both sides may reach out to a 3rd team to try and help the deal go through.
Reports have it that Corey Prokorov has set a deadline of Tuesday at 11:59est, at which point, the deal is off the table.

Reports coming out of Houston that backup C Roy Hibbert wants out. Although has had enjoyed the team's success, he wants a to have a bigger role. Hibbert stated to the media "Houston wants to move forward with Yao, and that's ok. But I know I can be a big time player for other teams looking to contend. I can't reach my full potential as a backup." Houston is reportedly inquiring with other teams about getting a talented PF in return for Hibbert's services. Stay tuned!

Nuggets shopping around Battier and Artest at the deadline....would like to get a PG out of the deal...but would take a lesser PG with a serviceable replacement...
