Hibbert has improved just about every year since he started at G'Town when he could barely walk. it definitely matters that he's playing against guys 4-5 inches shorter than him with Miami and even back with Atlanta.

It's like AJ playing in the post against Dave.

It's not even a matchup.

I am sure they are watching the hell out of these games for scouting but you cant change who you are as a team completely in the Finals.

From who I know, San Antonio presents a better match up for the Heat even though they will still be a tough series.
If I'm not mistaken, the Pacers are a good rebounding team.

And the Heat are actually a better rebounding team than the Spurs. Not 100% but I think that's correct.

I haven't watched the Spurs much but they're not the old school Spurs, they're much more finesse nowadays with Parker leading the way and alot of 3 point shooting.

Pacers are best rebounding team in NBA.

Heat are near bottom, San Antonio is slightly better than Miami. San Antonio is 'finesse' but that's slightly misleading, they play good D... finesse typically means they are 'soft' on defense.

I think he was referring to offensively with how they move the ball and shoot the 3.

I think Parker is the only one that creates and attacks the rim.

But I dont even know their starting 5 so I dont know shit.

Ill give it a whirl without looking:

Duncan
Green
Parker
Splitter
Leonard

Dave is right in the perception of "finesse"

I moreso meant they don't beat you with great D, rebounding, and low scoring games in the 80s. Their offense is finesse, they do play good D, but don't rebound all that great, and don't mind playing the high scoring or at least more up tempo style nowadays.

Spurs swept the best D in the NBA. They are in the Finals, again. Great season, great team and coach.

i'm fine with what he's trying to do... what i'm not fine with is anyone else not named bosh, lebron or wade taking anything other than a wide open dunk off a pass from one of those 3 or a wide open 3 after one of them drive. Norris Cole taking jump shots 10 seconds into the shot clock should be an automatic buzzer and him on the bench.

great half from the defense, big 3 and ray allen.

pretty much the ideal half for Miami and they only shot 40% as a team.
