I'm just saying it seems like its all the time with him now. Who exactly are they going to get that will make him happy. wasn't he the one lobbying hard for Thompson? well done!

The report is that they were close to a deal with the main pieces being Love for Butler, and the day they were closing in on the deal is the day Dan Gilbert decided to go public with letting the Cavs GM(who LeBron really likes) go, and talks for the deal broke off immediately after that.
There's certainly merit to saying what more do you want them to do and like you said, it was reported that LeBron helped get Thompson that contract, but I think there's also merit to saying the Cavs front office is pretty inept, especially with Griffin out.

I wont argue that
trading Love would help them. I'm no expert but he reminds of a MLB player who hits .300 but bats .220 with RISP

Love is basically really good against any team except for Golden State, which is kind of a problem when you play with LeBron.
