-7.5 Miami tonight... many seem to think the Heat curbstomp them. My gut says the same thing, but it's hard to argue with how Indiana matches up. I fully expect Lebron and Wade to come out looking to get to the rim early and often. I don't expect too many passive possessions for the Heat in the 1st half. If Indiana avoids foul trouble, they stay in the game late... if they pick up a couple of fouls early and let it get out of hand on Miami's court, the Heat will definitely walk all over them tonight.

i was gonna make a joke comment about Crawford reffing the Heat but didnt know if I had the stats to back it up. but ya,
Alok Pattani @AlokPattaniESPN 6m
Heat 18-3 playoff W-L w/ Dan Crawford reffing since 04: highest win pct for any team-ref combo in span (min 10 gms - 116 qualifying combos).

Wade and above are 10 of 34 ont the last 2 games.
They don't need them to play better but they do need Lebron to have a monster type game if they continue to play poorly.

coming into tonight, Wade this series he was:
47% shooting, 6 reb, 5.5 asts, 1 blk, 1 stl
tonight he was:
27% shooting, 2 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 2 stl
he hasn't been as good as he was most of the year but he's still been a good player that helps his team win in the postseason. tonight he and Bosh were main reasons they lost.
if he gives them 15-17 points on 47% shooting with the rest of what he does, they'll be fine in game 7

the red is Wades overall FG numbers, and blue is by game.. coincidence? small sample size? not getting fts? whatever you wanna call it, I'm gonna say Wade has played horrible vs Indy lol.
I mean, he probably cant play as bad as he did in Game 6, but its not like its just a one time thing.

I just posted his #'s in the series vs tonight.
tonight was bad by any measure. before tonight was below avg for Wade but still very good for 90% of the league.

very true. but can the heat win with a below avg wade? Serious Q too, like out of 100 times, if wade plays below avg, how many they win? 50? 60? 35? lol

they've won like 50 of their last 56 games
they're 11-4 in the postseason.
he's been like this for just about all of that. it seems a heck of a lot worse when you watch him play 11 games vs Roy Hibbert and Joakim Noah rather than a random game vs Orlando in April.
if he plays like tonight, that's not below avg Wade. that's horrible anybody. if he plays like he did the rest of the series than he's doing his part and helping his team win. it would then be up to the rest of the players to play up to whatever their usage is.
anything can happen in a game 7, one game sample size. but I like the Heats chances and Wade chances of playing well.

Wade feels him/bosh need bigger role ..ya, try not to shoot 3-11 in game 6 and you might!
Lebron is as soon as gone imo after next yr.
http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2013/st ... igger-role
"I mean, we can state the obvious; they're both struggling," James said of Wade and Bosh. "When you're struggling, the best thing to get is a layup or a dunk. [Wade] missed a couple of them ... Chris is struggling with his shot and him hurting his ankle didn't help."

Wade's efficiency numbers in the entire playoffs and each series are much lower than his season averages.
I don't completely buy the Bulls/Pacers defense is good angle, because in 7 games vs the 2 teams this year he was very efficient.
He simply can't beat his guy off the dribble right now, so he can't get easy shots or to the free throw line.
The Heat can win game 7 without him or Bosh playing well, they did it in game 6, but it certainly makes it much less of a sure thing, so to speak.

On a scale of Benoit Benjamin to Patrick Ewing, where does Roy Hibbert's performance land tonight.
I think this is a game that is going to define him, one way or the other.

I think he's had 20/10 more or as much in this series than he did the entire regular season.
I know it's a bad matchup for the Heat, but that's nuts.

Has to be close. For all of the talk of lack of athleticism and such, he's looked decent running the pick & roll and shown very good footwork adjusting in the paint.

Miami is going to need someone to have one of "those" performances.
Either a Haslem crazy shooting night again, Birdman making 5-6,or a Mike Miller headband sighting hitting 3 or 4 3s.
Someone mentioned it but this is the Miami Cavaliers version of Bron and the gameplan.
