Sheltown was on pace for I think 98 wins when we added Sakamoto and Robert Anderson.
Sheltown has gone 28-24 since adding these 2 players.
Welcome to OOTP, where your team gets worse when it gets better.
Every decade or so, you have a team that you just loathe, and this is that team for Sheltown.
Same goes for commish/simmer.

Final update on Broken Bow, they finished the season 6-62. Yesterday I set my pitchers to be benched for 100 days so they wouldn't pitch this final sim. Mike Fox started yesterdays sim on Sunday. He then goes out and starts on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. So I guess the benching in the game strategy screen doesn't work either.
edit: Just checked the game strategy on all of them and they still have 93 days of riding the pine, yet they all still pitched this sim.

[*] Jon Bowman - ALPOTW - .444 AVG, 4 HRs, 8 RBIs - Has had a disappointing season, but hopefully this is a sign hes moving in the right direction.

Hopefully that's a sign he'll pull his head out of his ass for next year.

We need to reassess our leagues minor league system. The fact every single year the r ball records don’t erase until the start of the next season is weird in itself. Trendon kinda just put it together so we’d have a minor leagues

Why is that weird. They have a different schedule than most leagues.

Because when the preseason rolls around and every league is 0-0 but rookie ball remains your previous record..
Short Season A starts later and I’m pretty sure their records reset too

Pretty sure thats normal. I think it has to do with when the standings rolls over (pretty sure its pre-season) and because SA and R start late their pre-season isnt until sometime during our regular season.

Just start rookie and SA ball at the same time as the others- more games to develop prospects and gives you some data to make decisions on guys to release before you draft

The point of Rookie / SA is to provide a place for your draftees. This really isnt an issue.

How do you get to talk about how good your players are and the OOTP gods do nothing. I mention one thing about my guys and have meat sweats for every sim.
