From a friend who had lunch with him the week before he died
“Wow! It’s pretty funny that I sat at a lunch last week with Scott and Tommy Black and Scott was very upset at the fact that his ex moved the kids out if state and shut him out from them. He was upset and frustrated about it. We got into a “I miss my kids” conversation and he was visually upset by this. So much that I had to change the topic. I felt reading this that there were a bunch of cheap shots written and some untruths. Scott loved his kids and was totally upset by the situation between his ex and kids. The last thing he said was I haven’t seen my kids in over a year and I love and miss them very much. Glasses came off and his eyes were red. Remember, there are three sides to every story. Scott is not here to defend himself so I had to at least share this. My heart goes out to his children.”
Oh, and Shel, I'm sure that the kids had SOOOOOOOOOOOO much input into the letter.

One is thirteen, the other is fifteen. Does that letter sound like something a pair of teenagers had a hand in writing?

call me insensitive, but who cares....he was a junkie who could write and sing. It's not like he won the Nobel Peace Prize

I get it, you just toss aside anything in the article as truth, but believe everything his friend said...no bias there, I'm sure.
When in reality, I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle, and this is super sad for the kids.

Just listened to Lebby on the podcast talking about the Scott Weiland letter, he basically echoed my sentiment.
We all know Lebby counts for 10 votes!
Victory!!!

Enjoying Texas because it is actually cold and feels like Christmas time which is nice for once. But I am weird and enjoy the colder type weather.

Cold sucks. It's fine to vacation in for like a week during Xmas but come January I just want spring.
Hell I'm not crazy about Spring or Autumn either. I just want heat 24/7
