Wow, a pretty remarkable piece from the mother and kids of Scott Weiland.

That's powerful.

Spoken like one addict for another.

I mean what did she say that is so "powerful" that we didn't already know? It's more pathetic to kick a dead man while he is down because of his addiction.

Doesn't give him an excuse for being the way he was but really no need for it and not sure what she thinks she is considering she was an addict for many years herself.

She was so crushed that she had no problem mentioning child support early on.

Fact is, she knew Weiland had drug problems when she married him, and she knew he had drug problems when she had children with him. That entire piece comes off as an "all about me" piece, esp when numerous reports state that the reason he didn't see his kids was because she wouldn't allow him to.

Yes. I honestly did as I remember reading a story many years ago about them possibly being taken away because they were both addicts.

I am just wondering how you viewed it as powerful for the context of what that piece entailed. I will say if you don't know the back history yes I can totally see how your view many hold some merit.

So I see your side. :)

Oh yea, you coulda told me had had 13 kids or 0 kids, i had no clue.

I'm just saying, that's really sad shit. Especially considering, as it said, his 15 and 13 year old kids helped write that article.

Yeah, she's mad that she lost her $60,000 a month child support. Let's call a spade a spade here.

She's going to put up one heck of a fight for his estate. If he was smart, he locked that thing up where the kids all get it when they turn 25.

Ok, I guess we're just gonna ignore the kids in all of this.
