there is some video of the immediate aftermath of it floating around.
nothing graphic but you can see the guys getting arrested and you can hear the wife crying. its pretty disturbing to listen to her as she doesn't know what's going on yet and she is asking for her husband.
so sad.

Yea, that stinks.
I've heard that as she was being hauled off into the ambulance(she was also shot twice), you can hear her screaming for him. Brutal.

I'm sure the stories and rumor mill is running wild, but new reports show that Smith earlier had a slight crash with the shooter, and Smith fled from the scene, hit and run.
Then the shooter followed him, and I guess they stopped at an interesection/red light where the shooting eventually took place. Also witnesses stating Smith first announced he had a gun and was possibly reaching for it when the shooter fired.
My 1st statement seems to be so as of now, but obviously the 2nd one is just probably total speculation/rumor at this point.

If he was reaching for a gun... wouldn't they have found it on him and released that info by now?

Maybe he hadn't gotten to it yet, but this seems to be all eyewitness type accounts on that specific part, so I'd get why that hasn't been released yet.

Right but it's not like they wouldn't have found it on his body

Coulda been under the seat, in the glove compartment. He could have been reaching for it, but didn't get to it.
This is one of those stories that likely goes down with us never having any idea what really happened in those final moments.

I'm completely with you on all of that. However, if he had a gun, they'd find it. They don't just look at it and go "oh, well he got shot, no need to look any further." If he had one, they'd find it.
Maybe they have though, and just haven't released it like you said

And they just found it. Fully loaded hand gun found in his vehicle. Plot thickens

Didn't they say he was shot in the back? Makes sense that the gun was in the vehicle and he was going to get it. I'd shoot someone in the back as well if they threatened me to get their gun.

So many scenarios in play. Was he getting his gun because the guy was walking towards him with a gun?
The shooter has a tough case to sell on self defense, it vaguely resembles the George Zimmerman situation, in a way.

With everyone's attachment to their phones and the quickness of people pressing record whenever something may go down, I would have bet there was video of this whole encounter (surely it would have been leaked by now right?)

The Josh Gordon pick up is the best part
Manziel was passenger in alleged hit and run incident
As it turns out, a false tale of living with Von Miller may not be the weirdest thing about Johnny Manziel’s most recent Saturday night.
Via TMZ, Manziel was the passenger later that night in an alleged hit and run.
Specifically, Manziel was riding in a vehicle that hit a light pole. He and the driver, Ryan Silverstein (a/k/a OVO Ryan, whatever that means) fled the scene on foot.
And, of course, they were picked up by suspended Browns receiver Josh Gordon.
Manziel and Silverstein later returned to the scene, and Manziel was interviewed by police. He has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing.
Still, Manziel’s involvement in yet another bizarre incident will do nothing to persuade a team to give him another chance.

Somebody gotta post that TMZ thing with Manziel, it was magical, every word he said was awesome.
From sounding drunk already, to saying he was living with Von Miller when he wasn't, from saying he had been to that same place 6 nights in a row, to some dude working there he comes in and grabs Manziel and hauls him off.
One of the funnier things I've seen in a while.

He wasn't supposed to remain on the case as he was set to become a judge soon...but he's turned down judgeship to stay on the case.
Probably a no brainer with the exposure he has coming his way.

I feel like the Titans just trade raped the Rams
Titans trade 1st pick. 4th and a 6th rounders to Rams
Titans got 2 1st round picks. 2 2nds, 2 3rds.
Pretty happy. Titans have 6 picks in the first 76 picks this year.
