I've heard this from a few people, and it bothers me. 26 is a grown ass man.
The only thing about cam that bothered me was him pulling up and not diving on that late fumble
Physically, without a doubt everyone is a grown ass man at 26. But I've known way too many guys that are still the same at 26 emotionally as they were at 18. Cam undoubtedly has a lot of things taken care of for him because of his talent and money. These things that force you or I to grow up and behave in a more mature way may not have been in play for Cam.
That being said, 2015 was (seemingly) a year of great growth for Cam. He finished his college degree over the summer, started to break out as a commercial option for several brands, and just had a kid in late December. It wouldn't shock me to see him act in a more mature manner next year with regards to the media and losses, just hopefully he keeps his showman's personality as that seems to be a winning aspect for him.

He had his season stats on his shoes for pre-game, he's certainly cocky. I just don't get why people freak out over that. They all have egos, I like that he doesn't feel like he has to hide it.
It's good for the game. If the NFL had a bunch of Russell Wilson personalities out there, it would be way less interesting.
You might not believe this, but I agree with you. And again, I'm not a Cam fan, but I don't hate him for his attitude, I hate him because he doesn't play for the Seahawks and he finally beat them this season, twice...

The bigger story is the hogwash people are spreading about Eli Manning being pissed that the Broncos won. They talk all the time about how little emotion Eli shows in his own games, why would he go nuts at a Broncos/Panthers game? Brother or not, he isn't going to be a hip hip hooray guy in the Manning Suite. Jesus...

Apparently when Manziel "was in the concussion protocol" late last year, it was just a cover up for his benching after he showed up to practice drunk... On a Wednesday

I have zero problems with the way he handled himself post game. We all laughed the way Marshawn handled himself with the media last year and I thought what he was doing was worse than the way Newton handled himself. He lost on the biggest stage and lets face it, he played a piss poor game.
Now Cam not jumping on that fumble, that was BS. If he is my teammate we would have had some words.

Here's the thing, why do you think he did it?
Do you really think he just gave up, or was just mad so he said, "screw it?"

16-10 game at that point? Would your guy go after that fumble? I sure hope mine would!

I honestly think he thought he could have gotten hurt. If it's a regular season game don't jump on it, but its the game winning drive in the Super Bowl. You have time to heal up, get your ass down on the ball.

I think it was a while earlier in the game but they cut to him multiple times holding his left shoulder after a big hit and he was just off all game. Maybe that pain and injury made him think twice.
Either way, get your ass down there and fake it at least.

That definitely could be it. It could have also just been an instinct to protect himself, and not necessarily him thinking his health was more important than a Super Bowl, if that makes sense.
There was also another angle they showed of it, and the ball was about scooped it and he was still upright, so there wasn't much he could do, and not diving actually put him in a better spot(even though he didn't get it) to get the ball after it popped out again.
It certainly looked bad, but I'm just saying there's probably a couple of reasons he did what he did but none of those are that he didn't care about winning the Super Bowl.

He made a statement and said he didn't want to hurt himself and also brought up how quarterbacks who don't tackle or decide for the better of the team not to get into those physical moments.
Then went to say they didn't lose because of that fumble.

A franchise QB should def jump on a ball with a bunch of 300+ pound men around him so when they injure him, he can spend his off season rehabbing an injury cause those are always fun. Maybe they'll bruise/break a vertebrae, get on that pile pussy!!!

This is all assuming he wins the scrum if he dove for it which is a bit of a overestimation in my opinion. I do think ultimately he should have given it a shot but it's a split second decision and can't fault the man too much. Maybe some disappointment but his fault, not in my book. Team sport, maybe the tackle should have blocked better or the coaches should have gave that side help. Just trying to say there's a ton of stuff going on

from this view it looks like all that happens to Cam if he jumps on it is he gets completely rocked. The ball goes thru his legs and then he has OL and DL jumping on his on purpose since he's a QB.

I don't give a fuck if he is going to get rocked. It is the Super Bowl. I agree with Packsy here.
It is why you play this game. Jump on the damn ball, period!
And if he cared about getting injured, he would slide way more when he runs as a QB.

Kind of looks like he didn't think he would get there first so was hoping for a second ball chance, who knows game is in the past

He's almost as big as all the dudes in that video.
Look I played football and so did a lot of other guys in here. You don't have much time to think. IMO (not saying it is right or wrong) he saw those big bodies and pussed out. No biggie, just happened to be in the biggest stage of his career.
And to have an obese nobody like yourself call me an idiot was entertainment for the day. Go eat another hot pocket you fat slob.
