not sure how either of those help your point.

you can be overrated, a really bad pick, hated by fans for not living up to the hype, etc etc and still be a really effective player that helps a franchise.

it might not help it but im not really in the mood to go into a deep statistical debate on a saturday night. go look up his stats, look at his struggles as a 24 yr old former #1 overall pick in AAA, and then see if itll translate to the pros. probably wont, thus hes a bum.

also u dont just trade #1 overall picks from 2 seasons ago, along with others, for a reliever....

and finally

where again are these good numbers?

As a Cubs fan I feel like we over payed for Hayward but I am excited to see him in Wrigley swallowing up fly balls and shit.

I posted in ootp I did war value to a price and hey wards worth about 24 mil, take into account inflation and getting better it's a solid deal. Plus he's 34 when it's done and not 40 like the Cano deal for example

Frazier to White Sox as a part of a 3 team deal. White Sox send prospects to Dodgers, Dodgers sent prospects including Peraza to Reds.

Meh deal for me but doesn't look like anyone gave up a whole lot. Don't see it being enough for the ChiSox but again worthwhile gamble

He may be a beast in the south side. Fulmer might be a mid season call up. Tim Anderson, who has been playing SS could go to CF because he makes a lot of errors in the SS position. A burner on the base paths, 49 steals, 12 triples, would be nice at the bottom of the lineup, doesn't walk enough to be a leadoff or #2 hitter.

I like the deal for the WhiteSox moving forward.

has there been talk of Tim Anderson going to CF? He's played nothing but SS in the minors and it's not exactly a smooth transition from SS to CF..

edit: damn guess so.

Though Anderson has the athleticism, actions and arm strength needed at shortstop, it's not a given that he'll remain at the position. He lacks soft hands and still is figuring out his footwork after making 34 errors in 81 games last season. If he can't cut it as an infielder, he has the tools to profile well as a center fielder.

From his profile page and what scouts are saying:

I hope he stays at SS a little while longer for my Dynasty team. At least keep eligibility for a while! haha

I'm taking that errors don't count? 34 errors in 81 innings. Guy must be playing with a catchers mitt out there.
