Interested to see what comes out this month.

I dont know much about PS+ but I was under the impression that new games came out each month but I am sure that will be slow going for the PS4 to start.

There is no new PS4 offering for December as of the current announcement.

Here is the December preview:

And today's release and sale items for Plus:

I whole-heartedly suggest bookmarking and checking the Playstation Blog a few times a week. Good info there often.

Hmm, I might download Ico

How is Grid 2? Is it worth a look?

I love the comments. People getting discounts complaining about not enough discounts...LOL

You can "download" every game they offer for free without actually downloading it to your harddrive. Just go through the Sony Entertainment Store for Playstation on the web and click/"purchase" any free PS Plus game. Then, it will be in your previously downloaded list and you can come back and grab it any time. Very worthwhile and takes no time at all.

Yeah. I heard Ico is a pretty decent game.

As far as the download stuff, is there a limit to when you could download?

Also, I have a question that I haven't researched, but someone may have a quick explanation.

Movies and shows from PSN Store. Are those rentals or purchase? Do you get one viewing, limited viewing or unlimited viewing? I'm assuming the ones that are titled rentals you get one view, or at least a time limit on the window to view it, but are there purchases that you make that you can keep the movie for as long as you want it?

You can rent a movie and also purchase the same movie.

Purchase, there forever for your sign on when purchased.
Rental, only 24 hours after starting it.

As far as I thought.

It works for PS4. It also works for people that don't have PS4 yet (so I've already "downloaded" the two free current PS4 games and will them download them to my PS4 when I get one).

You need to "download" the free games while they're in the instant game collection. But, that doesn't mean you have to physically download them to your system, you just have to complete the free purchase online. Alternatively, you can download to your system and then delete it if you need to save space. Then, as long as you're still a PS plus member, you can re-download any time. Since PS Plus is now basically mandatory for everyone, you can always come back and download that game again whenever you want (forever, or until they stop hosting PS3 games when the PS6 comes out in 2025).
