Honestly I am so far removed from this as I don't watch ESPN unless for a game, listen to sports talk radio, or any of that other media hype. It's sad. I get my news from Instagram now a days.
Same boat, really since I initially cut cable about 7 years ago. Its been a wonderful change, I watch/follow games without wasting time listening to the regurgitated nonsense on ESPN. That being said, I dont know the leagues/rosters nearly as well as I did growing up

Speaking of not wasting time, since I went back to cable I don't think I'll ever be able to cut the cord again until there' a viable option for DVR.

I watch NFL and NBA games in an hour, tops. So if a game starts at 3, i usually start watching at 5 ish, and I usually get live in perfect time right near the end of the game.

Thats a good point. I honestly just dont watch much sports. The only time Ill sit and watch a game with undivided attention is MSU football (and really only the bigger games), and MSU in the cbball tournament. Otherwise, if I have a game on, its usually on a weekend afternoon playing in the background while Im doing other shit/work around the house. During the week sports are non-existent for me

He has had a very minimal injury history by NFL players if you will. I think we may see a trend of this more as more data is released to these CTE studies. Get out while you can still walk and know what your name is I guess.
2014 NFL Hand Johnson dislocated his finger during the season and had to get surgery in the offseason. He didn
2014 NFL Ankle Megatron sprained his ankle in week 3 and was able to play through it in week 4. It has clearly affected his usage on the field
2014 NFL Ankle Megatron tried to play through his sprained ankle injury and ended up taking a shot to it. He left the game with a high ankle sprain
2013 NFL Knee Megatron played out 2013 with a partially torn PCL. He missed week 5 and week 17 as he dealt with severe swelling all season long.
2009 NFL Hand Missed 2 preseason games with 3 fractured fingers
2009 NFL Leg Strained thigh muscle and had to leave the game
2009 NFL Knee Sprained right ACL and missed 3 games
2007 NFL Ribs Fractured his ribs and missed 1 game

If I recall, he didn't practice this season(or was very limited), and mostly only participated during games.

Who you got?

Storybook ending for Manning? Hate train for Newton?

Both teams pulled the formula from Seattle and built their defenses up. Both of these teams have pretty damn good defenses and I think it will come down to which offense executes. I am rooting for Manning to ride off into the sunset, but I think the Panthers are too good on both sides of the ball.

Panthers 32-15
