GREEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
See. You already tied me. Cookeville just two back. We are toast. I’m going to finish with like the 6th best RD in all of NDL and still not make it.
Like Thanos, it is inevitable
I think you'll be fine. We have a four game set against Richmond so it's make or break for one of us. Gives you some room for error.
And you won't be facing Howard.
I appreciate your efforts to pretend I have a chance, but the game has already decided. First starting LF Grimes (hitting .309, 3.2 WAR guy) gets a 4-week D2D earlier this month which just goes past the end of the season.
Then this past sim my starting CF (can't hit, but key defensive guy, and Grimes would be his sub in CF) goes down to exactly the end of the regular season.
2 days later my starting 3B (3 WAR guy) goes out for the next 5 days
If Cookeville wins 3 outta 4 against Richmond and I split with San Antonio, suddenly my lead is 1 game with 3 to play and I'm facing a playoff team while they have the 4th and last place teams from the Central.
I've done this dance enough times to see the writing on the wall. Best, best, best case the game allows me one last gasp of hope in the form of a Game 163 which I will undoubtedly lose.

4th best team in the Central is 6-5 vs the Greeks this season. And Trust he will get my best shot I want to make sure yearly I beat him overall year in and out. Also 3 sims ago I was in right there with you guys. He will have to earn it.

Still fighting to get 1st round bye. I've already got Riley starting when he probably shouldn't just to rest a little but can't give in yet. Looks like I'll be deciding the wild card this week lol.

I hope you're right for my sake

. Richmond is getting my #1-4 SP's, but I'm down my starting CF'er and 3B as well. I don't really see us getting 3 of 4 from him.

Doesn't matter as the Beef sweep the Seals. We should get swept but it's just the way OOTP works, get ready for a long off season SF

Big problems with the sim this morning. The game continues to crash over and over when I sim the final day of the season. I've tried it 20 times for over 2 hours, it ain't happening. My file must have gotten corrupted. I even uploaded a file a day short and then erased everything and tried to download a fresh file and still no luck. The solution will be Mike is going to have to run the sim from the beginning of the week when he can. This will eliminate the issue as this is the second time I've had this happen.
So, I am sorry if your sim goes differently. I clinched a spot as well and could now be out of the playoffs so I hear ya. There just is not a way for me to advance and since I've already clicked save game I can't go backwards.

While I made it, ironically this came true. Lucky for me Ry decided he didn't want HFA and rolled over for the final set

Greeks knock off the Cubs 3-0 in the 1 game playoff. I will not sim again today but all playoff teams need to get an export in today or tomorrow morning as I will run round 1 tomorrow around 1 pm CST

Also I turned off playoff rosters for this year. I think because I forgot to do it and finally remember late in the season it messed things up. I checked a few teams before uploading file and it was not working properly. I will remember to do it this offseason so we are set for next season
