Warner Woods is hitless in his last 21 at bats, dropping his average to .170 to go with a -1.3 WAR

On the bright side, his contract is manageable.

I have scouted every player in the draft pool rated 45 potential or higher since the draft pool was released.
I currently have 6 pages of players rated 45 potential or higher that do NOT have Very High scouting accuracy.
Yay new OOTP scouting!!!

Curious on the "holy fuck" take.
He's not a SS. If he is played there, he'll be a bottom 5-10 SS in the league.
His eye rating and the ability to walk is the only redeeming quality he has at the plate, and it's his only chance at being an average hitter.
I think he'll be one of those guys who gives you an OPS+ around 80-90. If he was an elite SS, this may be fine and he can get you, say, 3-4 WAR. But he won't be a good SS, so it's tough to see where his value is. $13mil isn't a ton of money, but I think he'll be a 2-3 WAR guy for the next few seasons at best.
Reynoso currently hitting .190 with an 83 OPS+, has the 19th best defensive efficiency for a SS.
But he's somehow on pace for 3.1 WAR.

+2.5ZR .999 efficiency
Those are solid numbers at SS right?

ZR is 8th, EFF is 19th, so roughly average.

Lol, Shilo killed him. He was already starting to decline and that contract killed his motivation to fight it

.340 OBP. Shel is an old timer like Billy!!!
sorry SF (i know youre 32-32 and im happy for you) but i see 190/340 on his team and I think 235/360-370 on a better team.
i dont wanna give away an old family secret but thats usually the players i go after (shit stats on a bad team* with ratings i like)
* SF is not bad and also wouldnt trade him for peanuts/adding a prospect.
