I don't hate Zion. I don't hate, it's a waste of energy. But I don't think he is going to be an elite NBA player. He can't shoot (don't give me his FG% as 70% or more of his shots are layups/dunks). If he didn't have the explosiveness he would be just another 6'8" 285lbs guy playing at Rutgers. I just think the elite athletes in the NBA will be able to stop him more than the great athletes of CBB.

He shot 34% from 3 this season, 40% in the tournament.
Blake Griffin actually couldn't shoot coming out of college, so...
Giannis can't shoot right now, and he's going to win the MVP.

1.
2. But he does, and he has more explosiveness than any college basketball player this season AND he is 285lbs, so...

NBA players are better than college players, got it.

Best part, we get to see next year. If I am wrong I have zero problem saying I was wrong. I just don't think I will be.

Agreed. He is a superstar and he plays really hard. I have no idea how George is convinced he is a bust

He's the most bust proof elite prospect since....I don't know who, but probably in quite some time.
Though I have a sneaky suspicion that George will consider anything less than being something along the lines of Lebron-level good a bust.

as a top 3 pick (only saying that because a team may see more value in Morant than Zion if they need a PG) he should be a perennial All Star

He is going to be a perennial all-star and the #1 pick, there is not a discussion about this no matter who is on your roster. He is the best prospect since Anthony Davis

Most draft guys say it’s a very weak draft after the top 3-5

George had too many whiskeys when he said Zion is overrated. Now he has sobered up and has to stick by it.
Why does he need to "shoot" in today's NBA in order to be 'elite'?
The guy shoots better than Blake Griffin did coming out...might shoot as good as BG does now...
if he is a bust it will be for health reasons …that's a decent sized if

Officially turned on my first tourney game. Realized Virginia is playing.
Expecting 16-9 halftime score.
Bad timing on my end.

Could not have a bigger contrast in styles. I think Auburn will struggle as VA will slow the pace down so much

I watched the 2nd half of LSU's final game, meh.
And I got lucky and watched the last 10 minutes of Duke's final 3 games, which were all pretty epic.

Man, tough beat for Auburn but that was an easy call. Guy didn’t kick his leg out and dude flew in to him and contacted his body.

Looks like the no call on the obvious double dribble was the actual bad call
