This is all I remember when I think of Pasqualoni as a coach. I was at that game and it was awesome to watch BC lose the BCS bid.

Diamond Ferri at Boston College, Nov. 27, 2004: The Orange was coming off an embarrassing 34-24 loss at Temple that left it at 5-5 and the only team standing between the No. 17 Eagles and a BCS bowl bid in their final season in the Big East. The Orange entered the game without star tailback Walter Reyes, and backup Damien Rhodes soon joined him on the sideline with a knee injury after gaining 99 yards in the opening five minutes.

Enter Ferri, the Boston-area native who had played tailback his first two seasons at SU before moving to the other side of the ball and becoming a star safety. The senior replaced Rhodes and rushed 28 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns. He played nearly the entire game on defense, returning a Ryan interception 44 yards for another score. He even returned two punts for eight yards.

His amazing performance led the to a 43-17 upset and a share of the Big East title in what would be Paul Pasqualoni’s final victory as SU coach.

“The true definition of a college football player,” Pasqualoni said of Ferri afterward. “A player, a warrior, whatever you want to call him.”

According to a Vegas bookie,Denver would be a 40 point favorite over Alabama if they played.

I would have said 50 if both teams played their game and went all out but of course, lots of ifs in there:
“If Denver is about 27-point favorites over Jacksonville in Week 6 at Denver, we would have to set the Broncos as at least 40.5 point favorites over the Crimson Tide,” Kevin Bradley, Sports Book Manager of Bovada.lv told Yahoo Sports. “Potentially even higher, as we would assume Denver would score almost every drive while Alabama would be lucky to score 10 points."

Yeah, I think any college team would be really hard pressed to be any NFL team.
The difference in the talent level is just tremendous.

I am proud of the kids showing up and making a student section.

After that,I would rather they stay at their expensive dorms in Coral Gables and watch the game on TV.
